Good for convenience, not security
I like how inexpensive it is, but as for security - a rock could easily break this open. It's just plastic, where as the more expensive ones are cast metal. But, If they have a rock, they could just break your window, too. I still like it because I just needed to store a key in a convenient place and am confident nobody will be trying to break in. But if someone wanted to get this key, it wouldn't take much.

I set the code as directed and checked the box before mounting. Lock would not come open. Could not use

Easy and convenient to use
To set combination is a little too easy to set. Anyone who opens the box will be able to change the combination. Also as far as I was able to find if the case is locked there is no way to open it if the combination is changed. The item does what it is supposed to do so great item.
