The media could not be loaded. Very satisfied with this two sets of bearings and water seal set. Local appliance repair was prohibitively expensive to do the job and I was unable to find these through local parts stores, but these could be delivered overnight.I’m not 100% certain of the quality of the parts, and Samsung is quite bad about making service parts available. These came packaged neatly in a small cardboard box, and while clean and neat were not as precisely made as the originals, but if this gets me several more years, I’ll be very satisfied.Installation of this is not for the faint of heart, but there’s an excellent YouTube video by a gentleman going out of the title of “jungleexplorer”. Search for “DIY: Best Samsung FL washer bearing replacement”. Honestly, the only hard part is driving out the old bearings with a punch, which is a real pain. The whole time you’re sweating, wondering if they’re gonna come out and then magically they pop right out.I put these in on Christmas Eve 2024, it took about four hours, but I’m new to this and I was watching the video referenced above. The product sold by this vendor are substandard and not tested. I bought the Samsung washer bearing kit and within 6 months the bearing started to make a tremendous loud sound when spinning in high speed. The cost of the bearing is $24 but the cost of installation is $500. When contacting the vendor they refuse to stand behind their product and in turn start pointing out potential issues with other parts. I have a video recording of noice before changed the bearing, after I changed the bearing (sold by this vendor) and the noice it started to make in 5 months post instal.Even though the vendor refunded the $24, it does not compensate for the cost of installation or the trouble I had to go through to get it corrected due to their substandard product quality.First hand experience and advice spend a couple extra bucks and buy direct from Samsung.

replaced bearing and seal, lasted 2 months ish… water passed the seal and made bearing fail.company replaced which was cool with new kit. Also purchased a spider arm because if the shaft isn’t the perfect oem size, seal will not properly seal.Long story short, I was using a punch and hammer to remove the inner bearing when a piece of my punch actually flew off and went through my entire eye. Hindsight, I thought it was just dirt that entered my eye.. finished my job in some pretty serious pain but got it done. Next morning washed a load of laundry but could hardly see out of my eye. Went to the ER and had them do a CT to find out a piece of metal had passed through my entire eye. I was rushed to UIC for immediate surgery.I’m one to always try and fix things, I’ve tackled this job now twice but the second time was the straw that broke the camels back. Be careful, Wear your safety glasses.Today I ended up purchasing a new washer due to these kits not being a sufficient long term fix.Sucks but it is what it is….

Looks good sealed bearings and seals appear to be correct but after 4 months they are very noisy I believe I will have to replace them againI will try to lube them with out damaging the seal

The rear bearing is good. No issues with installation parts fit good. The front bearing needs to be replaced due to leaking by the front seal. I R mechanically inkined I tink. lol, fallowed direction and watched some video just to be sure of installation. The manufacturer should invest in a Viton gasket material for seal and front bearing. Viton is a chemical resistant material. It resists chlorine in the water and the soap used for the washers. Other chemicals like fluoride and other kinds of chlorines used in municipal water supplies can damage our units in short time. So, with that said use the least amount of chlorine and soap and clean as recommended by manufacture. I ordered it again oops. I could blame my wife, but I was knee deep in disassembly and had her search my order history and order the same bearing and gasket seals. (my fault) If you apply a thin coat of clear waterproof grease, it may, and I say it may last longer time will tell on next review stay tuned for the rest of the story. Hint put the gasket and bearing in the freezer installation is much easier just be careful of rubber on install. Have fun!
