Pennington Smart Patch Bermudagrass Mix 10 lb

This product is fricken' amazing! You do have to keep it watered regularly (hard to remember sometimes), but even in spots where I have not got grass to grow for several years, I NOW HAVE GRASS! A little expensive, but it does work. I did have to reapply in some areas. Definitely "rough-up" soil before spreading to give it a better chance to permiate the ground.

Dows not working or germinate. I got one from in-store and it worked moderately. The one bought from Amazon did not germinate at all. Very disappointed. Will follow up and return to Pennington. Amazon has become worthless with product quality compared to brick and mortar stores.

A few dollars cheaper here than at your local store (unless they’re running a massive sale). However, the convenience and the fact that you get a free cardboard box with this order is a plus! Happy grass calls for Smart Patch

Good seed, Fast germination couldn't ask for more

this works but it's mostly whatever mulch or mulch substitute they added, i'd say it's less than 5% seed. Their product that is just seed coated with nitrogen fertiilzer works a lot better than product and includes a lot more seed by volume.

I bought this product because there was bare dirt under a large Maple tree. I was a little skeptical based on some reviews. I followed the instructions and now have GRASS growing. Very pleased.

I was eager to try this product - having to overseed a townhouse yard with sod that had not taken well. Tilled the entire yard and planted some seed. Watered every day. A week later seeing no results I doubled down and added 1" 1/2 of new soil and fertilizer and mixed in additional seed.Now, two weeks later the only grass that appears to be growing is the initial spots of sod that had remainder.Pretty disappointed to see no sign of growth.
