First I want to say how I like the size of this jar. For some reason I was thinking it was going to be much taller than it actually it. But it's the perfect size for the fridge. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space. My cold brew concrete tastes delicious and WAY better than store bought. The flavor is amazing especially if you're using freshly ground beans instead of pre ground coffee. I would definitely purchase another one. Prefect for those who love ice coffee and want to make it at home

Perfect for my needs of a gallon of cold brew coffee. I still use the large filter bags vs using the metal basket it comes with for the grounds. Glass is solid without being too bulky. Easy to clean. Spigot works well, only occasionally will it drip once after shutting off. Would definitely buy again when wears out!

I have gone through my share of cold brew carafes but hands down this one is the easiest and lasts the longest! I’m one my fourth week of using it, I’ve added oat milk to this brew, it helps it not be so strong for me. Cold brew is easier on the gut too, less acidic, one of the reasons I love it.Yes you will have some sediment when you get to bottom, no different than any other coffee carafes. One of the things I love is I use the coffee grounds in my garden, plants love coffee too!Easy to clean, run the insert through the dishwasher and the jug too if it’s ever empty which mine is not.

This was designed so well and I don’t have a single bad thing to say. I love the pouring spout from the bottom so that I don’t have to invert anything and risk coffee grounds sneaking out into my drink like with other cold brew kits I’ve had. I love the closed system so that the coffee really tastes fresh even over a week later. The only thing I started doing was using coffee filters to also line the inside of the metal filter just to minimize the amount of coffee ground residue, but that’s not this products fault I think that just happens when steeping pre ground coffee.

It does make a gallon of cold brew coffee at a time. The stainless grounds chamber is wide, but doesn't absorb that much coffee. Spigot is easy to dispense it with, and good mixing ability. I've found that pouring the water slower over the coffee gives you a good yield per ounce. I like 12 oz. of coffee per gallon but we all have different thoughts.Only drawback is that it leaves a lot of solids, but they coagulate at the bottom of the jar. I use large coffee filters, and pour the coffee through them into a gallon water container. Yes, it takes a while but you don't have to watch. Once done, the brewer is easy to clean. I just hose out the grounds and coffee and finish in the dishwasher. Good value for the price.

This jar was so beautiful and simple to use. The glass is thick so it doesn’t break easily if you just put it down and it holds and brews soooooooo much of my coffee so i don’t have to worry about making more for at least a week and that’s with more than just me drinking from it. It’s about the size of a regular gallon of milk so it doesn’t take up more room in my fridge than expected and my favorite part… ITS SO EASY TO CLEAN!!! The nozzle piece comes off easy and attaches by just screwing it in place so it’s not a hassle when washing.

I searched for a while and saw pix and reviews of same 1 gal cold brew jars that either broke or leaked, so I decided to give this a try. It is sturdy and makes a large amount of cold brew. It does not leak and it may be a bit tall to fit in some refrigerators, but it can be done if you shift a couple of shelves around. I love the thickness of the glass and the spout is attached to the jar to prevent leakage, and no leakage from the spout when it is closed. Will def order another one to make 2 diff batches @the same time!

Absolutely love this. After pouring coffee the spout does leak a few drops. I tend to pat the spout so it doesn’t leak in the fridge.So far using this the coffee has been very strong. It may take time for others to figure out their coffee to water ratio.
