PCOS And Your Fertility [Harris, Colette, Cheung, Theresa] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. PCOS And Your Fertility Review: A Must-Read If You Have PCOS & Have Fertility Questions!!! - I just ordered this book recently and it is AWESOME! I have read MANY books on both PCOS and also on Fertility/Infertility (2 separate categories though!). The Fertility books always mention PCOS and might even dedicate a small paragraph or two to the topic, but these books always end up telling you to speak with your doctor further about the issue. These Fertility books never speak to the PCOS patient, which I find frustrating. They are usually an overview to ANYONE with fertility issues (which is a very broad spectrum!). I REALLY wanted to find a book that covered Fertility/Infertility for PCOS people!!! Well, this is it! I highly recommend this book if you are wanting to have a baby or another baby and you have PCOS! There is a lot of info in the book that other books do not offer. Also, I really like this book because the authors take the first approach to doing things as naturally as possible. Then secondly, with medical intervention and as much self-knowledge as possible. They promote making your own decisions for youself after fully educating yourself on each particular topic, and also taking time to do this. I very much agree with this approach! Although I do have PCOS myself and have been pregnant 2 times without any interventions, now that I want to have another child, my body is acting completely different (lovely PCOS!) and I am needing more inforamtion to decide if medical intervention is right for me or not. This book has been extremely helpful and informative! Good luck to you if you find yourself in this situation too! You are not alone! Review: Absolutely a great book! And ive only read about 100 pages... - I normally do not write many reviews however I absolutely love this book. I have not even read 1/3 of it yet and have learned so much about my fertility and signs that indicate when I am the most fertile. As someone who is questioning whether or not I am ovulating, I am going to put all of these practices into place next month and hope for the best. I always thought that I needed to get a blood test in order to determine if I am ovulating or not....turns out that is not the case and there are things that I can do on my own to determine this. There are obviously sections of the book that I am going to skip.....as natural birth control is not what Im looking for today as Im trying to get pregnant. This book has been worth every penny so far!

Good Basic Info
Good information about PCOS, gives a general overview but doesn't give enough specific diet information for managing PCOS. Definitely recommend "New Glucose Revolution" for this.

Worked for me
I read this last fall and am now 25 weeks pregnant, due in July. It would not be too far-fetched to think that the positivity and tips found in this book help made this happen after almost a year of trying. The books reiterates that even though it might take longer, most women with PCOS go on to have perfectly normal, healthy pregnancies eventually so don't give up hope.

Very Informative
Highly recommended for women that was diagnosed with PCOS, but isn't sure what it is. This goes into what it is, and the symptoms that you may go through. It's pretty informative. After reading this, you would have a better understanding of what is going on with your body and why you are having a hard time conceiving.

Excellent for Anyone with PCOS that is Trying to Conceive
I would highly recommend this book to anyone with PCOS that is trying to conceive. It is full of great information. She doesn't just give the technical information, but talks about the emotional aspect of coping with infertility. I love all of the books that I have read by Colette Harris.
