So Expensive, But Worth Every Penny
I've ridden MTB on multiple continents and used my phone for SatNav for over 10 years, covering more than 50,000 miles. At one point, I even powered my phone off a dynamo hub! Initially, I rigged up my own holder with industrial Velcro. But then QuadLock came along, and I made the switch. QuadLock is great, but when you're trying to ride and grab a quick photo, or just get going in a hurry, it's always hit or miss as to whether you align it correctly. Though it was a very rare occurence overall, I've dropped the phone a couple of times, thinking it was locked in when it wasn't. QuadLock is great and also quite expensive (but nothing like Peak Design!). However, the little frustrations with using QuadLock never went away. So, upon seeing the Peak Design system—with its instant lock and low-profile case—I had to give it a try. It works so well that sometimes I just connect and disconnect it for the fun of it! I'm thrilled with how much easier it is. You still need to make sure it's locked, and I wish there was a more audible click to know for sure, but it only takes a split second to mount and confirm. Plus, no twisting, on or off! And although the case only saves a couple of millimeters, it makes my current Samsung S22+ feel like it's half the size! It's going to be quite expensive to set up Peak Design mounts on my other bikes and to utilize their other accessories. But it'll be worth it, and I'll be selling my QuadLock mounts to help fund the PD investment. QuadLock, don't be too upset; I acquired a lot of products over the years and was very happy with such great items. But it's just not Peak Design anymore.

So this is a perfect example of “you get what you pay for”. This mount is made from high quality metal and secures to the handle bars extremely well. When this is paired with a Peak Design Everyday phone case you do not have to worry about your phone coming off at all. Very quick install, your phone snaps on and off with the ease of a button on the back. You can have it in portrait or landscape mode. Well engineered. This does not even compare to the Quad Lock or other budget brands. Hit “BUY NOW”

This thing is fantastic! It's by far the most secure and easiest to use phone handlebar mount that I've ever used. (And I've tried a variety of clamp-style options.) It is expensive compared to other mounts, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it's very well made and has a great design. The mount is small and unobtrusive when not in use, which is nice. The best feature is that you can instantly clip the phone in or out, so I use this mount much more than any previous mount. The phone locks in instantly with magnet and clips, no fuss at all. And it's very secure: I've gone over bumps at speed, even dropped the bike, and the phone stays securely in place with no movement. It also clips out instantly with the press of a button, so it's easy to take the phone off when locking up the bike. The phone case for the Pixel 7 fits well and works with wireless charging. And the mounting hardware adds almost no thickness to the case, it's still very slim.

Habe den Halter inzwischen auf 3 Bikes im Einsatz und bin nach wie vor restlos überzeugt davon. In Kombination mit der passenden Handyhülle zwar recht teuer, hält das Handy aber sicher am Fahrrad.

Feels really sturdy and great quality. Very secure once it’s locked, already took it on 20km ride on uneven pavements and road and works perfectly fine. Very easy to lock on as well, don’t even need to adjust. I literally drop my phone on the holder and it automatically locks.
