The actual honey embedded pads are smaller than I expected but work well. They make a water tight seal around a wound so these are great for heavily exposed areas or if you know you’re going to get that area wet (much like a tegaderm-type of seal).

If I have a wound - that does not seem to heal (ex. scab is around a joint and bending keeps opening the wound before it scabs over). This bandaid can be put on before bed and in the morning is healed over enough for a regular bandaid. The only thing to remember is that boo boos need air - these are not intended to leave on for long periods. If you do, the wound will not heal at all and may even get worse. Its the same with the waterproof band aids, and all bandaids that have adhesive around all our sides of the pad...the wound needs the air provided by the bandaid that has sticky parts on two sides of the pad...with the other two sides open to allow air flow.

My husband had Mohs surgery on his leg, which left an area about the size of a dime, but very deep, open. I used these bandages, changing them every two or three days. We used them for 3 1/2 months. The wound healed beautifully, and theyvmade it so easy to care for it. I’m merely wiped it with alcohol after removing the old bandage and then applied a new one. No antibiotic ointment or Vaseline.

Used these on a significant wound that needed debridement several years ago and more recently on a long scratch on one of my kids. Work so well to speed healing and also on decreasing scarring, also stay in place super well even on kids who have a tendency to mess with bandages. Highly recommend and wish they sold them locally.
