Is the depth given, 622mm, including the door? If so, what is the depth of the main unit, not including the door?

Looking at the picture showing measurements, I believe the depth of the machine without the door is 622 mm. hope it helps.

Does this need to be vented? Also confused as to why there is water to empty on a dryer… help! ;)

This is a condenser dryer and therefore does not need to be vented. The dryer works by using warm/hot air to evaporate the moisture in the clothes which is then condensed by the condenser (at the bottom on the dryers front) and then pumped to the water holder/tank which is on the top left front of the unit. This should be emptied after each drying cycle is completed. Hope this helps.
