I’ve been using the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner for a few months now, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s lightweight, yet incredibly hydrating—perfect for layering without feeling greasy or sticky. One of the things I appreciate most is its minimalist ingredient list, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. There’s no fragrance, alcohol, or unnecessary additives, just pure hydration. The texture is a little thicker than water, almost like a light gel, which absorbs beautifully into the skin. I use it after cleansing and sometimes apply two or three layers for extra moisture. It calms redness, helps with dry patches, and gives my skin a healthy, plump look. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with dryness, sensitivity, or just looking to simplify and hydrate their skincare routine. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while too—definitely worth the price!

I’m 64 years old with dry skin. I just stared my skincare journey a few years ago and have tried countless items. I am a minimalist that has been looking for effective and affordable products. I have narrowed my items to the few that really work for me and this PKY essence toner is an absolute staple, I have repurchased if several times and have no plans to stop. I really like that it has minimal ingredients and is cost effective. Most of all though is how hydrated it makes my face and neck feel!! The texture is slightly thicker than most toners, it absorbs nicely, without stickiness. It makes my face feel like it’s had a luxurious spa treatment! I do have severe dry eye syndrome and this does not bother me at all. I do carefully apply to my orbital area without issue. My holy grail routine is cleanser (Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. I use both), this PKY essence toner, CosRX 6 peptide toner, CeraVe spf (AM), Tretinoin and CeraVe (PM).

Absolutely adore this toner. It is gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin. It dries down quickly, making my skin feel plump and soothed. I have been using for a little over a month now, and will continue using it as a part of my daily routine. Highly recommend!

I've been using this toner for about 2-3 years now and while it's a nice toner, there is really nothing to hoot and holler about. This toner does help with my sensitive skin when it gets really dry in colder weather, but it doesn't do much else for me. Also, it's lightweight, so I can still use it year-round without having to worry about it clogging my pores. It's extremely reliable which is why I have been using it for so long, but I'll probably change toners once I find one that does more than just hydrate.

So far I like this. It has a thick but watery texture, less creamy than Laneige and some of the other brands I have tried, but still leaves my skin feeling very nice. I pat a few drops all over my face after cleansing, then add a little more around my eyes. I do not notice any scent, and it is very nice in the AM, under sunscreen and makeup. It sinks in fast, but moisturizes well without making my skin look too wet, shiny, or greasy. I don’t notice any fragrance. Price is great, I love that the Korean brands are still so affordable.

This is a very gentle toner with few ingredients. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or cause breakouts. It’s slightly thicker than a standard watery toner but not as thick as a milky toner. It has a clear consistency and is slightly sticky but dries down well. I use it almost daily as part of a multiple toner routine. It works well with other products and provides hydration, but isn’t the most hydrating toner on its own. I have dry, sensitive, and reactive skin and I feel this toner is a good match for my skin type.

Revisited this skincare product after several years and I'm so glad that I did! So, a couple of years ago, I tried this essence but I didn't use it correctly and it was SO STICKY because my skin was already dehydrated and I had no moisture for the product to work with. I ended up hating the product and giving it away because I couldn't stand the stickiness. Fast forward a few years, I know my skin type better and how to treat it, so I use this PKY essence correctly this time and BAM! My dehydration was practically fixed overnight! I will say though, prior to adding this essence, I did already have a skincare routing going to help fix my dehydration. But even with that, I still felt like my skin needing more oomph, which is why I bought this essence because I kept seeing it recommended for people with dehydrated skin. Anyways, I would recommend this essence for sure! Just be careful to not over apply it (can make your moisturizer sticky from a humectant overload) and don't apply it to dry skin, apply it to DAMP skin. It really does make a difference! And because you don't need that much, even the smaller 3 oz bottle will probably last a good while and as a bonus, it's perfect for travel. I love this essence and I will continue to keep it in my rotation!
