The car does change color very easily. But it does not change to gray. It goes from red to pink. My son did not like that. Side from that the car is cute.

I donβt recommend this product! It is not red/grey as advertised. Unfortunately it is already opened.

Pro: good molding.Cons:-Plastic, less durable for toddlers-Colors change based on temperature; cold=red, hot=grey/primer. This is backwards from what it should have been - kids playing with it should make him red, not the other way around. Grey isn't interesting, red is.-Color change happens below room temperature, so we have to put him in the fridge to ever be red

Great color but colors are not accurate
Great little car, my son loves it. However, the colors are not accurate. The red and the cold water looks great but under hot water it does not turn gray or silver. It's more of a fuchsia color more of a very light pink color almost. regardless, my son still loves it.
