The Defurhome Bathroom Ceiling Light is easy to install, requiring just 4 screws and 2 cables. It has a sleek, modern design and provides excellent brightness. However, its minimalist design means it’s quite thin, which looks great once installed but posed a bit of a challenge for me during installation. My house has older wiring with several connector blocks coming out of the ceiling, and the light didn’t have enough space to accommodate them. I had to push those cables and connectors back into the ceiling to make it fit. I have very little electrical experience so this took me a lot longer than it should have. If your home has more modern wiring, this probably won’t be an issue. Overall, it’s a great light, but just be aware of potential spacing concerns depending on your setup.

Installation? A walk in the park. No need to call an electrician (unless you’re, like, 100% sure you’ll drop a screw into your shoe or something). That being said, while it was easy to install, the fixings could be a little sturdier. But it is lightweight, and at this price point, that’s more of a nitpick than a dealbreaker. The light was recieved well packaged in manufacturers box which included instructions and necessary fittings. Like other similar light fittings these days it was really easy to install and to replace my older similar dimension light fixture. The main point of note is that there is no earth in these types of light, which seems to be the case with all suppliers, so the fitting is simply a case of removing the live + neutral and attaching to the plastic connection box which is provided and clearly labelled. Once up and wired the light gives off good illumination for my needs which were for a smallish hallway. I was very impressed with just how slim and sleek the light looked especially comparing it to my older fitting which now looked quite bulky and the brightness of the light which at 5000K was again spot on. Overall due to the price point paid for this light, the ease of fitting and the excellent end result for my requirements, I am giving a full 5 star rating. There isn't much to dislike about this item.

A really bright well made light,much better than I expected for the price,easy to fit too.

I had to return the first light I received. After fitting the light was darker on one half. I separated the unit to find only half of the LED's were working, so returning item. The item was easy to fit and looked good and neat when fitted apart from the different different shades across the lit area. I decided to re-order another light the same, as the reviews are mostly good. It has now been fitted and works fine and looks good, much better than the old fluorescent tube that it replaced. I have only given 3 stars because of the first faulty item.
