I have used LIPPERT BRAKES in the past. Their stuff is good quality. TOO BAD AMAZON has no method to contact the warehouse as this most likely was a clerical/shipping issue. Ordered 3 RIGHT and 3 LEFT brake systems and over a 4 day period received in 4 boxes 6 Brake Sets ALL LEFT side. Self Adjusters won't work correct if they are put on wrong side. I would even be willing to drive to the LV warehouse (150 mile R/T) if they could solve the issue. No way to make that contact. Only cancel the order and send 3 back and reorder the 3 RIGHT SIDE. So now we must rent a trailer, thanks to the wrong parts being shipped. As many things that AMAZON does right, fixing simple issues is not one.

After a failed batch of factory original brake assemblies (4 out of 6 in 12 months on a triple axle) with badly tempered steel, the same part broke in the same place on all 4, the last one on the Continental Divide, shorting out the entire braking system on a 15,000 lb 5th wheel, we decided to go with a different manufacturer. These are the same design, bolt on in the exact same way, better quality, and literally 1/4 of the price. As long as you know how to pack an axle and can replace your race bearings (and use a grease gun), these are simple - 5 locking bolts and two wires, and the kit comes with 5 new locking bolts and 2 press together wire connectors already greased! A socket set and a pair of pliers and you're in business! Love them.

Good qualitY stuff. I'll see how theY ware with use. An assemblY is easier to replace than just replacing the shoes. The magnet is like replacing points & condenser; theY are to be replaced together. Therefore the assemblY is alwaYs replaced instead of just some parts of it. Rule of thumb: What You do on one side of an axel, do to the other. A pair to repair is alwaYs necessarY.Update: They don't last nearly as long as I expected. What I expected was the same longevity as auto brakes, or at least half as long since he RV is heavier. Nope. Not even nearly. I replace these assemblies every two years or LESS (about 10,000 miles of travel over US Interstate highways). I will say that my old puller truck does not have an engine Pakbrake so the RV brakes get a real workout going downhill, but so do the truck brakes at the same time and they don't suffer the same ware.

I ordered a pair of these for the right side and a pair for the left side for my trailer. The two for the left side were delivered in perfect condition without any problems. The two for the right side arrived damaged inside the box. It was not UPS at fault because the box was in perfect condition. These two for the right side were obviously delivered before and returned by someone else. The brake shoes and the self adjuster were apart on one item and the other looked like someone tried to repair the item and assembled it incorrectly. The brake shoes were not mounted properly and the self adjuster was damaged. The shipping labels had an Amazon distribution center address from Kentucky. They should have never been sent. It cost me and extra $80 to buy locally to complete the repairs to the trailer.

Loved the fact that everything was included for the swap. New bolts, and crimp connectors with gel to make the connection waterproof. Complete set of Lippert parts was just a bit more than shoes only. No issues at all with install or operation, would get these again
