I have used this book for decades. There is much wisdom in it and it is beautifully written with tripartite language

I am very pleased with this book. It is packed 252 pages on Ayurveda and the herbs. There are monographs on many herbs of india, China and Europe. Reason I bought this book is it covers Ayurveda medicine background plus herbal energetics and constitution of doshas. The tables and charts are clear and very helpful. There are more modern updated herbs like Aloe, wild carrot along with traditional Ayurveda herbs like anise, bala and saffron. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Ayurveda or a herbalist like myself wanting to learn about Ayurveda doshas and herbs that are used.

A solid book to have apart of your herbalism book collection. Easy to read and understand and a go-to book to reference.

Great Ayurvedic reference. Unfortunately many of these herbs are hard to find. Unless you have some training in Ayurveda it can be difficult to use because some herbs contradict each other in terms of doshas and herbs are often used in groups. Using them on their own without adequate knowledge could make one worse.

The book I ordered came quickly and in perfect condition! Very happy with this purchase.
