I have gifted this book to my daughter and friends. It will help you mentally, especially if you're stuck and can't move forward, it will make you jump hurdles. I could not put it down, I finished it quickly. It was a blessing! I wish I would have read it 40 years ago, but NO one cared about our mental health, a Black counselor, author is key whiling surrounded by false Stereotypes and image's of us; seek people that understand, others will try to medicate you. There wasn't a lot of help to make the black women whole, like it is now, so let's get healthy together and build an even stronger community, leaving noone behind. And, this book is a great start!

If you are serious about delving into the subject matter, then this book will do you well. If you don't have the time to invest, it will collect dust. Be sure you are really interested in and will to really get into its subject matter.

I manifested this book months before I needed it. Once I began my self-healing journey, this booked up right on time. Thank you.

This book is great and providing great chunks of inspiration and knowledge for taking care of yourself as a black women. The cultural ethos that keep us behind and wound up no longe4 has to exist. The author reminds us that old ideas no longer have to rule our emotions. We are human and deserve care and love.

I just bought 5 of the 6 books in this series on kindle. I wish all 6 books were available on kindle. I'm looking forward to reading the entire series and improving and growing.
