24 Inch Ceiling Fan Downrod - DR524-ODK

This fan looks great, was fairly easy to install, and works well. Our only hang-up during installation was pairing the remote with the fan itself--we missed that instruction and spent some frustrating moments re-checking the wiring before discovering our mistake. I had purchased separately the wall mount, but elected to return it. The remote works great, and has a sleeve that can be mounted on the wall. The controls for both look and function the same. I found the remote adequate to function as a wall mount. Although some report their fans as being noisy, I did not find that to be the case. If I had to ding it for anything, it is the need to flip a switch manually on the fan to reverse the blades. It would have been nice if that could be done from the remote. Its not hard to do, just requires getting up there to reach the switch.

It is a down rod and if you arte using it for its intended purpose then its as pictured and a good match, However I did not like the fan it was to be used with therefore I returned it to seller.

Fit our fan with no problems

Silent motor, no hum at any speed. Very happy with purchase. Factory support helpful on install also..

The product was an exact match for the Mika Aire I had purchased earlier this month and the 24 inch length is perfect for the 12 feet high ceiling in my study. The only issue was the several 2 in long scratches along its length even though the packaging didn’t seem to have any issues. Went ahead and fitted it anyway but was a tad disappointed to find the scratches were still visible.
