Balaji Pure Rose Mild Incense Sticks, (12 Units x 15 Sticks), Brown, 11 x 9.7 x 25 cm

These are seriously strong smelling. Sometimes I only burn half at a time so they last and have very intense smell, good quality for the price. Even use these for after cooking meals and also in the restroom if need be, it works well.

I was in a search for good sandalwood scented incense sticks. +25 years used Lotus brand ( Wisconsin USA ) of course Indian made. But quality drop so bad that I discontinued. Then the search began. From Japan to USA I used very expensive and almost 100 brand. My search ended with Balaji brand chandan incense sticks. Glad to find. It remained me the same Lotus quality. I am use to it for prayer and meditation with sandalwood scent around. It’s too special.

This is my second purchase of a big box of Chandan. It has a unqiue and long-lasting scent. Reminds me of a cross between an old Catholic church and an ashram!

The smell is very classic sandalwood: creamy, woody, and earthy. There might be some sandalwood oil on top of the wood, but not too strong. Overall, very pleasant and good value incense. I find most Indian incenses too strong, but this is nice.

I recently traveled to India and learned about this agarbatti. Since I couldn’t bring it back with me, it was the first thing I ordered on Amazon after I returned. Must say, I am very satisfied. It smells exactly like natural sandalwood; nothing like the artificial perfume-ish sandalwood. It instantly transforms a room to smell like a temple.

I like these incenses but they are not my favorite ones. I’d buy them again yes because they smell great so yes, I’d recommend them.

Por fin encuentro un incienso indio que huele como antaño. Hace 55 años que gasto inciensos y he ido oliendo como se iban deteriorando los perfumes... este me ha llevado a otros tiempos en que los inciensos indios olian con diferencias unos de otros, los japoneses han mantenido una buena calidad, pero los hindues ha ido perdiendo a lo largo del tiempo, no se si serán las materias primas o el negocio demasiado grande. Este lo recomiendo, es fuerte de olor y duradero, además el stick tarda en quemar. Pruebalo y veras que diferencia.

Je connais la marque Balaji depuis des années (découvert en Inde même), et c'est un de mes encens préférés. Attention, car c'est une senteur assez forte ; ceci en rose, et il existe aussi en santal et jasmin. Ça parfume si bien l'espace et reste subtilement en ambiance après. Je n'ai jamais pu le trouver en magasin en France, donc très contente de le trouver en-ligne !
