MSI Radeon RX6650xt gaming X Bought this at around £225 couple years back. * Don't know how available it will be going forward. Absolutely very impressed , as my first dedicated GPU for my first PC build. Quite heavy. I had read a lot of various reviews and this did get widely praised for its solid build quality and performance. Low power consumption and handles everything at high quality settings. Easy to install. Had it couple years now, absolutely no issues with it. Still ( in 2025 ) handles recent AAA tiles easily.

I bought this card after having an RMA nightmare with a Gigabyte 6800XT. When I got my refund, this was available at a very competitive price at the time and offered more than enough power for my needs. The build quality is superb and the massive cooler and triple fan set up means it can run far quieter than my previous card. It runs the vast majority of the games I play very well at 1440p ultrawide at high settings. Only in a few new AAA titles have I needed to tweak the settings down a bit to get a stable framerate. If ray tracing is important to you - then the AMD cards are well behind the Nvidia 30 series cards and you should go for a 30 series - maybe a 3060ti or 3070ti instead. I'm not really that bothered with RT and once its turned off, i think the AMD 6000 cards often offer much better bang for the buck. This card is pretty large - bigger than I was expecting! It fits well in my Corsair 4000x case, but you might run into some problems with a smaller case or if you have a radiator mounted to the front of your case. Check the measurements before buying. It does come with a gpu support bracket in the box which is a nice touch. The RGB on the card is nice - but if you have it mounted horizontally, you'll only really see the strip on the side. Overaall, I've been delighted with it.

I recently purchased the MSI Radeon RX 6600 MECH 2X 8G Gaming Graphics Card and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this product and would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Firstly, the card performs well and runs games smoothly without any lag or stuttering. The 8GB GDDR6 and 2491 MHz clock speed provide a good amount of power, allowing for a seamless gaming experience. Additionally, the card supports 4K and 8K resolution, which is a great feature for those with high-end displays. However, I did run into some issues with the card's cooling system. The fans were quite loud and often ran at high speeds, even during less demanding tasks. This was quite frustrating as it made the card more noticeable and took away from the overall gaming experience. Additionally, I found that the card ran quite hot at times, which is not ideal for long-term use. Another issue I had with the card was its size. The MECH 2X takes up quite a bit of space in my PC and required me to rearrange some components to fit it in properly. This may not be an issue for those with larger cases, but for those with more compact builds, it could pose a problem. Overall, I think the MSI Radeon RX 6600 MECH 2X 8G Gaming Graphics Card is a decent option for those looking for a mid-range graphics card. While it does have some drawbacks, such as its loud fans and large size, its performance and support for high-resolution displays make it a solid choice for gaming.

It is good mid range GPU overall, allows to play in FHD, but if you want to play the newest games in higer resolution, you would have to consider something more expensive. It suited my needs perfectly and in this price range (for a new card) it was hard to find anything better. Buying second hand card was not an option for me as you could get ex mining card in unknown condition. It is quite compact in size which make it easier to fit in smaller pc cases, but also the fans might be getting noisy where in heavy use. Personally I haven't found a noise too loud or disturbing. A disadvantage can also be only 2 outputs (1 hdmi and 1 display port). Again it depends what do you need the card for, but I wouldn't mind one extra hdmi here. Another plus is that the card is using only 1x 6pin connector (compering to 6+8 in my previous card). As for performance it is important to know that card works much better with PCIe 4. When used with PCIe3 performance is reduced. It is good enough card when you have not huge expectations and building pc on a budget, or when you may plan to change the card temporarily before upgrading.

I have a gaming PC but my graphics card is from an old PC (Nvidia GTX 970) so games like call of duty mw2 the bigger maps I'll get 40-60 FPS, I originally wanted to go for a Nvidia 4070, 3080 as people rave about those cards alot and you don't hear much with AMD Radeon. After some research and finding I could get an AMD equivalent card for £100 less I went for it. I have a 2k 144hz HDR gaming monitor and used display port. Most games I run on high at 2k. I would definitely recommend this graphics card for people like me who casually game and do some online competitive games at 2k. If you wanted to run games at 4k but 120fps then you would need something higher end but a monitor/TV with that spec would cost you alot. Fallout 76 runs between 30-75 FPS outside, maybe it would be better on an Nvidia equivalent. I was very worried that Starfield would run alot worse, considering even the Xbox One X is capped at 30 fps. However Starfield runs very nice between 45-75 FPS. It used to be the case that £400 would get you the very best graphics card but now £400 is mid range with some cards costing £900-£1500. One thing is this card changes in sound, when I play games or move in menus. I don't think it's a fault just strange if I move menu I can hear it change, it might be the fan but never noticed it before. It's definitely a great card. COD MW2 in quick play I'll get 120-144fps Warzone Al Mazera I'll get 80 fps Watch Dogs Legion 90-110 FPS Starfield 45-70 FPS. Destiny 2 144 FPS Apex legends 144 FPS Halo Infinite 120-144 FPS if I remember Half life Alyx VR I don't know the FPS but it feels 90+ Medal of honour above and beyond VR (a demanding game I think 80 FPS+ Fallout 76 (this is a buggy and badly optimised game IMO) 30-70 FPS outside and 120-144 FPS indoor.

I have been PC gaming heavily over the last ten years or so, but more recently I've been moving towards console gaming and using my computer less and less. While making my current system ready for Windows 11, I decided to move my system in to a much smaller case. Even though I only partake in what can be described as “light PC gaming” these days, I still use the system for regular use with Photoshop, Power BI and other similar graphically intensive tools. Previously I was using a Nvidia GTX 1060 (6 GB) that was also made by MSI, but as part of downsizing I wanted to get something a bit more compact. Performance-wise, this card (RX6400) is incredibly similar to my previous card (GTX 1060) so I'm happy with the similar levels of performance. The RX6400 AERO ITX feels very well-built. It has a single fan that is remarkably quiet, and it also seems fairly quiet even under heavier loads. The heat sink element feels solid without being too heavy. Installation of this GPU is incredibly straightforward. Due to the low-power requirements of the card, it only needs to be connected to the PCIe x16 slot on your motherboard, providing you have a sufficient PSU. Windows 11 automatically assigned the correct drivers for the card on boot, but I would recommend heading to MSI or AMD's website to get the latest drivers and software packages for the card. Performance-wise (as mentioned previously), the performance is comparable to the mid/high-range cards produced around 2016-2018, such as the GTX 1060. It can't play the latest games on the highest settings in 1080p, but with some tweaking you can often get acceptable levels of performance on the latest AAA titles, providing you are willing to compromise. While I do not regularly play games on my system these days, I still do occasionally from time-to-time. I mainly play City Builders / Colony Sims / RTS games, so this card is generally more than sufficient for my needs. I imagine that this card would be great for people in a similar position playing MOBAs and MMORPGs too, based on my experiences with my previous card. Overall, this is an excellent budget card that can still produce a respectable performance despite its price. With new performance improving enhancements such as AMD's FSR becoming increasingly popular feature included in the latest games, I look forward to using this card for many years to come. Update - August 2024: I eventually sold this graphics card, as I moved to a much smaller system with an APU. I enjoyed my time with the card, and I would still fully recommend it for the reasons listed in the main section of my review.

I was looking for parts to build a new gaming computer for my daughter as she wanted to play the new Starfield as her older HP OMEN with Radeon 480 was not fit for the job. I managed to order most of the parts from Amazon and this GPU was the recommended for the system we were building. I bought MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi Motherboard with Ryzen 7600x along with Corsair DDR5 32GB RAM. Corsair RMX 850X in MSI Gungnir 110R and Samsung Evo970 1TB M.2 drive. System was running like a charm and all we needed was GPU. We decided to go for Radeon RX 6750 as price difference between RX6700 and 6750 was marginal. I understand that AMD’s updated Radeon RX 6750 XT GPU is a minor improvement over the 6700 XT. Boost frequency goes up by minor 19 MHz from 2581 MHz to 2600 MHz as well as memory bandwidth goes up to 18 Gbps from 16 with power consumption of extra 20 watts. Basically one is stuck in the stupid numbers that makes no sense. Why bother releasing something as minor update as this. If you look at Nvidia their ti version is significant improvement to non ti cards. Anyways, this is out performing my Nvidia MSI 3060 by far. I have leant that even 3060ti is not comparable to it. It is more competitive with 3070s. All the games and programs we have ran and tested, this system is rock solid and as we only do 1080p gaming it is absolutely a beast. It is totally capable of 2k at a very decent performance and 4k at setting turned down a bit. Like I said my family and I only play 1080p so far the card is performing at amazing speed without any lag or tear off screen in all the games we have played. We are delighted with this card and we definitely recommend this for mid budget range of Computer like ours.

This card is great value for money! I am able to play almost any game at max/high settings at 1080p and maintain at least 60fps, and play some games at 1440p medium/high settings 60fps. I've had this card for 2 months and I have faced 0 issues. The card itself is very good quality and I highly recommend getting this card!
