This is an absolutely lovely piece of gear. I never dreamed it would have such high-quality leather and brass parts for the bargain price. I plan to order some more. KUDOS!

The intent was to use these on our military Honor Guard rifles. Although they are very nice slings, they are too long for the rifles. The slings cannot be adjusted to be "tight" - and loose slings will not work for our purposes. I will keep them for use on my "shooting" rifles, but unfortunately will not be able to use them for military funerals. It appears the "short" strap is not short enough. The "long" strap is the same length as other slings on my rifles, but the excessively long "short" strap will not allow the sling to be tightened enough for our purposes. I could modify the "long" strap to make them work (maybe), but I would need to do that for all seven rifles.

One of the sliding keepers is made of extremely thin leather that I don't think will last very long, but the other is normal. But I think overall it is a very good value for the cost

This resides on my Grandpa’s old Remington 740, replacing what was probably a real G.I. sling that was so dry rotted it crumbled when I removed it. I don’t shoot it much (it’s not a fun rifle to shoot), but the sling works and looks great on this ‘50s-vintage rifle.
