Very sturdy and have now managed to pull out 3 shopping trolleys including one from my previous review. Also so far pulled out 3 x road cones (two were huge) by hooking under rubber base. The grapple hook in my previous reviews unfortunately got completely wedged under some rocks so could not retrieve it so had to buy this again. This is really strong as I said before and can pull anything you are strong enough to lift. Today I also pulled out a massive pole around 8ft long which would not have been possible with my magnet as well as a solid piece of metal rail (previously pulled out with magnet) which someone had thrown back in the river before I got a chance to get the scrap collected. Removed lots of plastic bags from river and used it to move cans, bottles etc closer so I could pick them up. Highly recommended, just be careful not to get it stuck under a rock!!

Grappin très solide en inox, super pour le ramassage d'objets en rivière ou en mer. Et en plus il est esthétique !

This is a quality item. This one is a good size and very strong. The ‘points’ are quite shallow so may not get a good grip and they are so strong that I doubt they can be bent into a different shape. With that caveat in mind, this is an excellent product.
