Mattel Harry Potter Collectible Sirius Black Doll (10-inch), Fully Posable, Wearing Signature Outfit with Wand, Gift for 6 Year Olds and Up, HCJ34

Lovely doll, good size, clothes are of good quality. Do not like plastic hair though and will probably re root him.

This Harry Potter Sirius Black doll has a great face with moveable head, elbows, knee, wrists and shoulders, but not ankles, he’s not as flexible as a Barbie MTM doll. His joints are pretty stiff to move, a child could struggle with this when playing. His left elbow joint has been made poorly with a piece of plastic jagged. His outfit is good but disappointing his shirt and waistcoat are only at the front, attached to his coat with a Velcro opening at the front, it would have been great to see a sleeved shirt and waistcoat rather than a backless design that is attached to the coat. His shoes come off as does his trousers and belt if you wanted to put him in other clothes, I’d say he’d fit Barbie’s Ken clothing as he looks about the same size. His existing clothes look well made and should withstand children playing with this doll. It would be nice if Mattel gave a stand for these dolls for older children and adults who collect them.

This doll has the standard body for an adult character in this Harry Potter line. The head sculpt is far and away the best I've seen in this line thus far -- an excellent likeness of Gary Oldman playing Sirius. The costume is good-looking, if simplified, and constructed economically: the shirt is just the collar sewn to the inside of the vest, and the vest just a shirt-front sewn into the inside of the jacket. I could wish Mattel had sprung for a more-closely-held wand-gripping hand, but it's still pretty decent.

Nice addition to the Harry potter line but a slight dip in quality ( but not in price!} The sculpt is an excellent likeness and has the usual 11 points of articulation. The clothes are interesting! The coat, jacket and waistcoat are all one piece and only the coat part has a back panel to it ( similar to the BTS dolls jackets) not sure about the plastic "wig" I think it works really well on some of the Harry Potter dolls but the hair is too long in this case to look good replicated in plastic .Over all happy to have him but will probably remove the plastic wig and root him some hair!

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and collect these lifelike figures. I find them to be good likenesses to the characters, plenty of detail and great quality.
