Wood worker using epoxy resins on irregular surfaces. Frequently I heed to "Dam" up a large crack or gouge on a vertical surface. THis requires me using a very thin and sticky tape that has to form a dam on the void and the tape has to stick very tight as the epoxy is very thin. I use the device to smooth the tape into the highly irregular wood surface. as I would not be able to get a water tight fit just using my fingers. This is about 3/4" deep and abut 1/8" to 2" wide over about 15" length and very irregular surface. The grayish are in the left is prior fill roughed up and the clear side is the epoxy as it is being poured but has not yet flowed to cover the left gray area.
