Works perfectly and fits well, allows you to adjust the fit easily, I have a large head. I have to sleep with a TV on because I haven't invested in a white noise machine, but this helps block out the light! If you make it tight enough, you'll get a headache if you make it too tight, of course.

Once I discovered the benefits of "keeping myself in the dark" after the sun rises, it became very apparent that there are some important factors when considering a sleep mask. I bought my 1st sleep mask as a bit of an experiment. I bought one of the cheapest ones I could find. It worked, a bit, but it quickly became deficient in many ways. Then I got another one, and another one, and another one, until I finally found this one. This mask checks all the boxes. The cut out for around the nose is high enough that it does not pinch the top of your nose. The padding around the nose is very soft and yet completely blocks out all the light. The strap is wide where it attaches to each side of the mask and is stitched-in instead of being connected with some kind of flimsy little buckles. Those things make it very comfortable. Another important thing I've learned is that this mask, being stitched all the way around the perimeter, will not come apart like several of the others I have had. Most of these masks seem like they are simply cut out with a press, like a cookie cutter. The edges simply come apart after a little while. That will not happen with this mask. It is also rigid enough that if you wear it fairly tight on your head, it still maintains it's shape. Other ones get misshapen and they then press against your eyes and become very uncomfortable. I wish I would have found this mask 1st and knew everything I now know. I could have saved quite a few dollars if I had gotten this one first. I'm pretty sure I'd still be using it all these years later. I highly recommend it.

It is comfortable and I like that it is an adjustable headband and does not use Velcro. When I sit up 100% of the light is blocked. When I put my head on the pillow (stomach sleeper) it gaps by the nose. I can fix this with pulling at the mask but then it’s a little out of place and likely to gap again anyway. However, I feel the mask is a huge improvement over not wearing one. It’s comfortable. I think it’s worth the price.
