TPM2.0 Module LPC 14Pin Module with Infineon SLB9665 for ASUS Motherboard Compatible with TPM-M R2.0

As indicated by other users in their reviews, this TPM 2.0 module works with my ASUS Z170 Sabertooth motherboard. BIOS shows the module is working and active. This means that updating my Windows 10 to Windows 11 only lacks inclusion on the M$ CPU list, and the override for that seems to be a minor problem fixed with M$'s own registry hack. Upgrading users without SSE4.2, UEFI, Secure Boot and TPM must pursue a more drastic approach. For now, this is a minor expense to keep my Kaby Lake computer up to date and Win 11 inspired. Be sure this is the right module for your motherboard -- this module fits ASUS Z170 boards, and I wouldn't know what else.

Installed on my Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard so I could upgrade to Windows 11 without having to bypass the TPM requirement. The module works perfectly.

Having a TPM2.0 module alone was not enough to run Windows 11. My AMD CPU was Zen+. I needed a later architecture chip to get the job done. Windows 10 works just fine for me now.

Thought I wouldn’t be able to play the latest iteration of Warzone due to the new TPM 2.0 and secure boot requirements but this device plugs right into the TPM PCIe location. It’s literally plug and play. Didn’t have to configure anything.

Be sure to check the pin configuration, works fine if it fits. Even with the TPM 2.0, Windows 11 does not work on i7 chips.

Bought, installed on Assus, ROG Crosshair VI Hero I bought 8 years ago (TPM's have been around for a while), No instructions on how to install, had to do internet search (very easy), booted up, typed tpm.msc in run window and the computer recognized it with the message( the tpm is ready to use). I still have a few issues to fix concerned with CPU before the upgrade to W11. I will see what happens then! I will try to update when I successfully finish the upgrade! Doesn't hurt to be optimistic!

Plugged it into the ASUS motherboard, went from having no TPM to having TPM 2.0. Was able to upgrade to Windows 11 (after making it accept an older processor). Make sure your motherboard has the right connector.

Works with ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming Motherboard (ITX size). In the BIOS, switch the Physical Presence Spec Version to 1.3 under the TPM settings. I was then able to do a fresh install of Windows 11 via USB media.
