I bought this set of galvanised steel Easy Fix washers to secure insulation boards to the roof trusses, and they worked exactly as needed. The pack comes with plenty of washers — more than enough to complete the job without worrying about running out — and for the price, it’s really good value. The washers are solid, well-made, and the galvanised finish gives confidence that they won’t rust or deteriorate over time, especially in loft spaces where temperature and humidity can fluctuate. They grip firmly once screwed in, holding the insulation panels perfectly flat against the trusses with no movement or sagging. They were easy to use as well; the size is spot-on for standard rigid insulation boards, and they sit neatly without cracking or damaging the material. Overall, a simple product but genuinely reliable and effective — ideal for anyone doing insulation work or general construction projects.

Used these to secure the under-rafter Celotex PIR insulation in a loft conversion before applying the plasterboard ceiling. Very secure fixings achieved and thus these proved indispensable.

Delivery & service excellent. Washers are good value & suitable for intended purpose but are of thinner gauge than other 35mm washers I've used.

Perfect for the job. Bought these to replace some others I got on here, without the claws and made of weaker steel. These are what you need. Push them into the backer board and they all stay in place while you go round with screws.

Very good, ready for money

Size and shape as you would expect, but very thin compared to your standard DIY washer. When tightening down washers distort with edges curling up. You need to stack two or more.

Works great to fit insulation to rafters and walls. One on each corner holds the insulation board solid prior to plasterboarding. It is thin so i can sink it slightly. Value for money.

Acheté pour fixer des panneaux de polystyrène extrudé en sous-pente sur le chevronnage. Convient parfaitement pour cet usage. Le polystyrène extrudé étant suffisamment dur pour supporter l'écrasement. Utiliser une visseuse avec un limiteur de couple car sinon la rondelle se transforme en cuvette

Rien à dire. Parfaites pour fixer des panneaux d'isolation rigides jusqu'à 6 cm d'épaisseur. Après il faut passer à des rondelles plus larges.
