Very nice dryer vent hose at a very reasonable price. Not a lot to say. This dryer vent hose is every bit as nice as others that sell for substantially more money. It came with nice stainless steel draw band hose clamps. Installation was easy. Works great!

This is exactly what you’d expect. Dryer vent. It’s just REALLY long. We probably didn’t need a full 20’ but we wanted to live on the safe side and I’m glad. This works great, and bends around the area to hook our dryer up to the vent. As far as installation, it’s as easy to install as any other dryer vent, which if you’ve had to do, you know. Would I buy this again, absolutely!

I liked the flexibility aspect. I needed to replace the old duct because it would crack every time I’d pull my dryer out to clean. This new flexible duct with withstand that much better. As other reviewers noted the duct is narrow and very hard to install. I had an actual appliance technician install it and he had a hard time. In the end he MacGyvered some adaptors for both ends. I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own. The manufacturer needs to make the whole duct wider at least at the ends.

I’m not a handyman at all. Just an average middle aged dad who can handle lightbulbs and flipping circuit breakers. I’m giving this 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. I replaced a semi-rigid duct which had become crushed by the previous tenant and was reducing drying efficiency (and possibly raising CO concerns which is why I also bought a CO monitor/alarm). I chose flexible duct because well you can see in the pictures I needed flexibility. I disagree with reviewers who said this is flimsy like aluminum foil. I rough-handled this during install because it was a tight fit on the both ends to the hook-ups. There were no tears when I was done. I turned the elbow joint in the wall around because only one side is crimped and that made installing the duct much easier. I’m concerned with the possibility that people are very unfamiliar with aluminum foil and perhaps should spend more time in the kitchen.

One would think that this product would be easily compatible with any standard 4 inch dryer exhaust. Not the case! This house is exactly 4 inches in diameter, which makes it sliding over any dryer exhaust port a needlessly difficult endeavor. The PVC lamination that is supposed to lend durability to the tubing does little, because as soon as you attempt to fit it over the 4 inch exhaust that you foolishly assumed the 4 inch dryer vent hose would fit over it begins shredding. If you do somehow manage to get it over your exhaust without tearing the hose, they do provide some hose clamps. Which are pretty redundant if it's as difficult to get off as it is to get on.

Ordered 20’ hose because wasn’t sure how much I needed. Hose hooked up easily to dryer with screw clamp. Hooking up to house exhaust vent was tricky because vent was larger than 4”. Was able to bend vent with pliers and secure hose with screw clamp. This works great! Hardest part was getting my big Fanny from behind dryer! If you have older model vents or dryer, that might be a problem. Plan accordingly. Clamps worked great and have extra hose left over.

Basically, it did not fit. The product was way too tight! In a effort to try to coax it on, it repeatedly tore and shredded it's material. My guess is that it was made too tight for a product that has so little give. I gave up after two hours of trying, got a regular dryer exhaust pipe at Home Depot, and it fit inside of 10 seconds, both on the drier and on the outside vent. The product "looks" great, but for me at least, not at all able to get it to do what it was made to do.

Waste of money , could not put stupid thing on the metal side towards the wall and to the dryer , too small to put that on , started tearing apart when I put force to put that on no question to put clamp on when it doesn’t go on . Should have read the reviews before paying for this .
