Box included everything for installation/mounting and users manual on setting up the camera, connecting it to your router for 2.4ghz. Battery came almost fully charged and was plugged into a wall USB charger to fully charge the battery before mounting outside. Signal strength read from medium to strong for outside use and this was at the opposite end of the house where the router is (basement). Changed the motion detection to low to avoid over detection, mounted the solar panel along the front outside of porch on the driveway side and the camera mounted to the back porch column for less obvious visibility. This covers the driveway, part of the front yard and the road off the driveway. It does pick up vehicles on the road off the driveway but I am not concerned about the frequent notifications. Always good to see what vehicles are constantly going up and down the street just as a precaution if someone were casing the house. The application seems to work fairly well. The options are easy to navigate and adjust settings. Unit seems to be solidly built. The video quality is outstanding and the night vision (using infrared mode only at this time) is clear and distinct. The cable for the solar panel is plenty long I believe 10 feet and is charging the battery just fine. The cable connects to the underside of the camera unit after moving the rubber covering away from the bottom to expose the charging port, micro sd card, and power button. I am concerned about moisture getting into the unit from hard, blowing rains. Kind of wish the charging port was a separate rubber plug hinge to allow the solar cable to plug directly into the underside of the camera without having to move the rubber covering exposing the other components thus making it a more complete seal. I chose the mounting bracket over the magnetic base. The solar panel and camera were mounted to the end of the porch on the porch columns. Anyone who has stopped in the driveway has not even noticed it. Very pleased with the unit which monitors the driveway and street and will be looking to get another one to monitor the front porch/door and one for the back of the house.

I bought this camera for the purpose of keeping an eye on my backyard and trying to identify what animal has been dumping out and destroying my plants, bending my garden decorations, and in general making a mess of my backyard. Mystery solved - raccoons. The night vision camera is AMAZING and shots are crystal clear (I uploaded “screenshots”’of the video recordings and they don’t fully represent the crisp/clear video recordings). I have spotted raccoons, a neighborhood cat, and easily identifies humans as well. I do find in the afternoons that the camera picks up shadows from the sun and sends alerts, but you can adjust the settings to help reduce unwanted alerts. This particular camera is fixed (and can manually be tilted up, down, and all around by unscrewing/ adjusting the back of the camera mount). The solar panel is incredible and is a must-have item as it will eliminate the need for me to have to charge the camera. I’ve also purchased the next model up which allows you to move the direction of the camera from the phone app and I will be doing a review on that as well. The app is easy to use and initial camera set-up is simple. This is an incredible buy and I’m very happy with my purchase!! I highly recommend this product.

Since 2023 I have purchases 4 Dzees cameras with solor panels the camera quality is great. What I have notice with the last 2 that came with the smaller panels is that even tho they are in the sun they don't get enough charge to keep the camera charged and that I've had to take both cameras down and charge them in the house. We haven't even going thur a winter yet. The first 2 have been up since 2023 and I've only had to take 1 down in 2 years to charge it doing the winter. Disappointed with the new solor panel and one of the small panels is next to one of the older panels and was at the same angle recently pulled in down some to see it that would help.

I ORDERED 2 OF THE SOLAR CAMERAS AND LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN USE SOLAR AND NOT HAVE TO GET ON A LADDER TO CHARGE AT MY AGE AND HEALTH. I HAD A SMALL ISSUE OF A MISSING PART. AND REACHED OUT TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. THEY CONTACTED ME WITHIN 24 HRS. AND SENT THE PART WITH A APOLOGY. I LOVE THAT MY HOME IS PROTECTED WITH SUCH HIGH SECURITY. THE CAMERA HAS AWESOME PICTURE QUALITY. VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED CUSTOMER. I BOUGHT 2 AS A HOUSE WARMING GIFT. AND THEY LOVE THEM. VERY EASY TO SET UP. I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY ON VACATION. AND THE CAMERA SENT ME A NOTIFICATION. LOVED THE FACT THAT I COULD TALK TO THE PERSON WHO WAS TRYING TO OPEN THE DOOR. IT SCARED THEM AND I TOLD THEM TO IMMEDIATELY LEAVE. OR I WOULD SEND MY DOG OUTSIDE. AND CALL THE POLICE. I HAD THEM ON CAMERA. HE NEVER KNEW THAT I WAS NOT HOME. SINCE I HAD 2 CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY. LOVED THE LOOK ON HIS FACE AS HE RAN DOWN THE STREET. Works quite well. Only triggered by movement within the 25ft range, so placement is important.
