How to Build Max-Performance Mopar Big-Blocks
J**R
Mopar B & RB owners.. must have this book.
This is a very well written, easy to read item. I've found nothing inaccurate, no typos, which can be disastrous with a book of this type. Measurements, techniques, and formulas are well explained so they're easy to understand. Even the author's opinions (which are identified as such) are justified sufficiently. Very few topics are left vague. If so, the author usually points out a specific reason for it. Details, details, details.. it's FULL of 'em. Both for production and aftermarket blocks, heads, etc. (and the differences between them). Great book, don't regret this purchase in the least. Highly recommend.

How Much Money You Got to Blow on an Engine?
A relatively recent offering targeting the ultimate "performance" crowd - i.e., Bracket Racing. Well written text, with excellent printing quality and photographic quality, though all photos are in B&W. In the Preface & Introduction sections the book attempts to make it clear this book is not about engine-building in general, or mildly increasing the performance of your Big-Block MOPAR. However, those potential "wave-off's" are only good if you're skimming the book in your local bookstore. Not of much assistance, once you've bought it (online?), uless you don't mind the hassle of returning it to your online vendor. Seems to be a great book for the niche audience it was written for, by an author who has the credentials to write such a book!

Highly recommend this book
This book helped me a lot when planning my B block build. Has a good build sheet to take notations of tolerances, CFM measurements, ect. Personally the oil passage sizing was the greatest help. Before I had a machine shop drill the cam to rocker passage I found a bunch of steel coiling in the passage left from the factory machining. Any way this book helped me design the build what I wanted, and put together with documentation instead of buying a crate engine. I can say "I built this" and know it is right. I am a retired professional mechanic that has re-built many engines. Re-building is not the same as building buy a long strech, this book really helps so everything comes out the way you pan.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!
