Fun and Educational STEM Project for Kids – Perfect for Hands-On Learning!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this STEM kit as part of a homeschool project for my 4th grader, and it was a big hit! We decided to build the solar-powered car, and it was a fantastic learning experience. The instructions were clear, and assembly was straightforward, though we did need a small hammer to fit some pieces together snugly.Once built, we had so much fun testing it under different conditions: sunny vs. cloudy weather, on an incline, and even with a little extra weight on it. It was fascinating to see how the car responded to each scenario, and it sparked great conversations about solar energy and mechanics. My daughter really enjoyed the hands-on process of building and experimenting. The kit is well-designed, sturdy, and perfect for engaging kids in STEM concepts in a fun and interactive way. Highly recommend for homeschoolers or anyone looking for a creative project!

These are fun and work!
My 8 year old and I had fun putting these together. He needed help wiggling some pieces in right. He was able to follow the directions and ask for help when he needed it. The wood hasn’t broken while we were putting it together but one part did when it was handled roughly.

Great quality
I bought this kid for my 9 y/o nephew; I was a bit hesitant since it was cheap (black Friday offer: 12 bucks). When it came, the box was small and light. I opened it and everything seemed fine. I wrapped it and gifted and my nephew was thrilled; he got excited building them, and the solar panel car ran FAST! The least exciting is the airplane, but it is lovely if you have a desk or a nightstand table with a window nearby.

As advertised
I mentor at my local school and while my 6th grade Mentee enjoys foosball and the indoor basketball arcade, I find it nice to mix things up a bit once in a while. He dug right into the solar plane and the battery powered fan. The moment we set the plane on a windowsill the propeller started turning. He used the fan to 'keep cool' while he beat me in foosball. He was able to assemble them by himself, for the most part. I just had to ramp down the enthusiasm so he wouldn't break anything. The pieces are small, and while not exactly delicate, one needs to be cautious in the assembly.

Fun STEM item
Few hours of entertainment for the kids. Pretty cool concept and ideas. Takes time for younger kids to do, but can be done. The quality is what one would expect for the price paid. Be sure to have plenty AA batteries available.

Fun projects
This kit was such a good buy. It kept my kids occupied while learning a bit of mechanics. The solar car was the favorite project.

Daughter loved it
My daughter loved putting these together. She doesn’t like reading directions or doing anything too technical so this was just her speed. She was able to do this activity by herself. The packets are small (and the wood is sort of cheap) but all the parts work, and it’s a great way to introduce circuitry and different power sources.

Fun project
My daughter just built electric vehicles in her science class. She was disappointed she didn't get to keep it so I bought this for her. She loved building these pieces and was excited to show me each project.
