Great finish but can mark the wood.
Good blades and tool overall. The painted metal marks the wood as you run it along, it should’ve been left bare or used a different material. I applied some tape to protect the wood.

Worked well!
It's not sharp out the box, but once sharp really works nicely. Great on MDF but wouldn't use it on pine or hardwood. If you don't have a router really good solution and if you do it takes 20secs to put a good chamfer on. Definitely worth the money and is actually a quality product. There is a few on Amazon and this is the best one!

Poor Quality
Considering the cost I expected this to work but was disappointed by firstly the blade locking nut being that tight I needed pliers to undo and re-tighten (which in itself wouldn't have been a long term problem because I could have re tapped the hole and made it good) and secondly the quality of the chamfer provided by the tool was extremely poor despite moving the blade back to only 1mm. The finish was very jagged and the tool difficult to use. I have returned this item.

Pay the extra for a proper router
I bought this as a cheaper/simpler alternative to buying and using a router. It does work and it is okay, but having now bought and used a router (because it’s pretty difficult to get a good finish especially if you come across any knots in the wood) I wish I’d pt the money spent on this towards that instead. If you are looking to get this as a cheap alternative to a router, or as a first step into woodworking I would highly recommend saving your money and getting the router instead.

A gloriously pointless item.
I only bought this because bad design fascinates me. The Japanese have a word for it; Chindogu. The art of inventing silly and useless items to solve everyday problems. In this case, the manufacturer has invented a problem, and then solved it in a very poor way. The blurb says "No need to plug in your router!". Well, of course, why would you do that when all you have to do with this item is remove seven screws with a fiddly hex wrench, change the cutter, replace the seven screws, and **** about for 30 minutes somehow setting the cutting depth with the imprecise and sloppy adjuster. Yes, the days of my router and block plane are truly numbered. Also, why in the name of sanity does it need vials to gauge level and plumb? In 39 years as a carpenter I have never needed to gauge level or plumb on any of my planes. Does it have a secret function we haven't been told about, or is this just the icing on the cake of pointlessness?I've only awarded two stars for value for money and performance, but as an addition to my burgeoning collection of Chindogu, it's priceless. Highly recommended on those grounds alone.
