Feels great in your hand. Smooth blade movement. Easy snag-free blade change. Extra blades stored in handle accessible with a latch. It it not cheap and a little hefty but great to hold and use. I purchased and tried over 10 different utility knifes with quick blade change and this one is by far the best knife to use. Even with what it costs I purchased 5 so I can always find one.

I really needed a good box cutter this year with ordering products to clean up after the Eaton Fire. This box cutter can cut the box, not just the tape. The box can be cut down to fit into recycling receptacles. Sensibly priced. It does have a slide to enclose the blade for safety so you do not leave it open.

The blade is great and handy but had to return the first one because it was faulty and was not retractable

Dewalt cares about their customers. This Razor Knife is really the Gold standard for what others should look to be. It's very safe to use and the Blades are stored in the top section. It's a bit larger and easier to hold. It has a lot of soft rubber on the outside, but is made of durable metal and some plastic. The only reason I took away a Star though was that the package does not include any good instructions and I was not sure how it opened up initially. I had to look for a video. Dewalt, please fix this in the future.
