I was apprehensive about these locks so I tested them multiple times before putting them on the item I wanted locked. Tests worked fine and day 1, no problems. Day two I try to unlock the locks and they will not open. If I do the manual code entry, the green indicator light will light up but the shackle will not release. Same if you try to unlock through the app- I will unlock in the app and push the power button as directed. The app will say the lock is open but it will not release the shackle. It shouldn't be an issue but the only thing I can think of is that I have two of them within about 15 feet of each other??? That doesn't seem to be the issue and the unlocking shackle is the same with both of them. I am using outdoors in a dry environment. On the day this happened, it was about 20 F outside, well above their temperature rating.

The media could not be loaded. Hey there everyone,I hate doing bad reviews but you all need to be aware of this! So I had used this lock 1 Single time and then it broke! I put this lock on my trailer to lock it. The box says water resistant which you will see in the picture I have taken. IT IS NOT WATER RESISTANT! I had charged this up and then put it on my trailer and have left it out there. It was dead when I went back out which has been about 3 weeks that it was left out there. Well it is full of water in the lock which found out way after I plugged it up to try and get it to unlock. It came on, looked as if it was going to work and I then used the app and hit unlock on the app and it said it was unlocked but it did not unlock the device! I pulled and pulled on it but nothing! It stayed locked. This actually caused me to not be able to use my vehicle since it was to late at night to cut it off due to my neighbors sleeping. So I was unable to do what I was needing to due to this lock. After about 25 mins of me trying to enter the code and use the app to get it to unlock it just up and quite working! Now I did not know it was full of water until after all this had happened. I thought it was “WEATHER RESISTANT” as they say it is! But nope it is not. So now my lock is fried I am assuming and I will be having to cut it off my trailer today. Now if your wondering if it got damaged somehow I can say 💯% that it did not! I put the lock on there and I haven’t moved the vehicle or trailer ever since! So it didn’t have any pressure out on it or anything. Just was out in the weather is all. So this is upsetting because I only did this to review the item since that is what I do is review items on here. I used it outside because I thought it could be used out in the weather since it said water resistant and they show images of it being used for commercial stuff like on the outside of a home and all. It truly is upsetting because I could have used it for other things inside my home or like on my tool box. I had to make sure to fully review the item and put it to the test to make sure what they say is accurate and all. Anyways due to this happening and since it’s now past the point for me to return it, I am stuck with it being broken. So if I was you only use this indoors and not anywhere that there is water or weather/moisture! I did truly like the lock and it’s design. There is no keys or a way to unlock it without using the code or app! Must have power to unlock the device. If it dies you can always use the usb cord to power it to unlock it. Hope this helps you. The first one I received was dud. It would not work on internal power. The manufacturer quickly determined that it was defective and ask that I have it replaced by Amazon.So far the replacement is working perfectly. It is quite compact. My two suggestion for the manufacturer are to make the numbers on the face a bit larger and to allow four digit codes.I will update my review if I run into any difficulties. I can see this lock, and the accompanying system being very useful for a business that has a lot of lock-out, tag-out items.

Worked great for two months, then stopped charging. Don't waste your money.

We own an escape room company, and locks are our thing. We couldn't get these to work at all. The phone app didn't work and the codes we tried to program them with didn't work either. We can't use them if they aren't reliable and work easily.

This lock started strong, I did like the convenience, until I no longer did. Twice I could not get it to unlock at the gym, waited almost an hour, fighting this lock. The first time, I thought it was a weird Bluetooth signal interference, then came the second time. I tried the code and the phone app, it beeps but would not unlock. I logged out of the phone app, cleared the cache and the data, no luck. It opened when it wanted. I do not think I want to spend an extra 45 mn to an hour in a smelly guys locker room. I returned it for full refund. Like I said it was the lock that was almost smart.
