A feast for the eyes!
A beautifully visual guide to growing, fruit, flowers and veg at home. It’s really well laid out in east to read and follow text with the most beautiful illustrations. Such a great gift for little ones and adults who want to get growing at home and learn more about where our food comes from.

Loads of photos and step by step information
Have bought this book for my grandson for his up coming birthday, as he's suddenly taken a great interest in household plants, and is constantly asking me about repotting and cutting off for regrowth etc, so I thought I'd get him his first gardening book, hopefully he will like it and it will help him look after his plants better

Beautiful book to grow a child's interest in nature
The illustrations and layout are magical. It sparks interest and engagement with the process of growing - whilst being educational in a way you just don't realise. A fabulous book to share with your child / grandchildren. It is such a high quality - everything from the pages and the cover, to the content and the illustrations. I am sure we will use this book for many years to come.

Stunning
Lovely book, but it is worth noting that Amazon is selling the American version. The UK edition can be purchased from Blackwells. This is a significant detail when purchasing for Children.

Beautiful book and cover, ruined by stupid lable
Gorgeous book. Ugly lable. Book cover destroyed in trying to remove lable.WHY do people still put stickers on books these days?!! Especially ones of certain materials that won't deal well with tjem being removed.Dumb.Sad.Unsure what to do, may return, try and get elsewhere without that big orange round 'fyi this book is for kids' lable on the front. Which is also dumb, by thhe way. It's very kid-friendly, but it's actually nicely beginner informative and very attractive to any age person.Revived UK edition, spelling wise, so that's good.
