Live Edge Coffee Table, Natural Living Room Coffee Table with Clear Lacquer Finish and Metal Hairpin Legs,Unique Desktop

I've been looking for this style of table for a while and after comparing prices with other online retailers, I took a chance on this coffee table. I'm glad I did. It looks great and is a nice statement piece in my living room. Assembly was easy despite there not being explicit instructions. I used the listing picture to confirm leg placement. The table has some weight to it, which is a positive in my opinion. The product did have a smell to it when I unboxed it (some sort of varnish or maybe just the smell of the wood used...), but it cleared quickly after being unboxed and assembled for a few hours. I'm hoping it holds up with the puppy and two kids. I didn't see any ongoing care instructions provided for it from the seller, so I'll be doing some research on how to properly clean and maintain it. With having a puppy, I liked that the legs were a sturdy material, as she is still in the "chew everything" phase.

Cute table but the smell is absolutely awful! Never smelled anything like it - hard to describe. Returning this table!

The media could not be loaded. We took a chance on this item after seeing it at other stores for over 700$. We weren’t willing to spend that much money and decided to see how this one came. I’m glad we did because it’s the perfect addition.Quality: We did run into a few issues but overall didn’t count it against the item because we were still happy with it and kept it. First, the item was very sturdy and had beautiful character. We loved the version we got and all it’s detail. After further inspection, we noticed a crack in the top. We thought about returning it but didn’t want the hassle as it’s very heavy. We’ve had this table several months now and the crack hasn’t become worse at all so glad we just kept it. There was also a flat side and a more bumpy side to this table. The bumpy side was much more appealing but made it hard to put a drink on steadily. We had to use the flatter side as the top which was the side with the crack sadly but it’s ok. Because we used the bumpier side on the bottom, it caused issues screwing in the pins. Some places we couldn’t catch the screws because of the depressions and it made placement more difficult as it wasn’t sturdy all around. Ultimately we went with 3 pins instead of all 4 and that worked better.Size: our version at its longest was 43” and at its widest was 23”. Perfect for what we needed.Bottom line: worth the buy and glad we purchased it.

I love this piece of wood. Felt risky to order it, since I didn't know exactly what it would look like. I do not like the thin metal legs it came with - seem an odd design, such a bulk of wood with such flimsy looking legs (thought they'd probably hold it fine - I just didn't like the look). So I put the slab on top of a low wooden shelf I had - still hoping to find / have built a better base.A woodworker tells me the cracks should be filled in. I don't know whether that's true. Will the slab fall apart someday? Seems sturdy. And again, it is beautiful. And the finish hasn't become scratched or stained - yay!

The table is cute even through it looks like a foot. It did smell awful when we received it and the top is not sealed properly. It’s rough and slightly damaged. It might have been packed while still wet. Easy to assemble. Heavy duty. Perfect size for a coffee table

Very nice, but would have preferred it without the high gloss finish.

I HAVE A LIVE-EDGE DINING ROOM TABLE AND WANTED SOMETHING SIMILAR AS A COFFEE TABLE. THE PICTURE SHOWED A TRUE LIVE-EDGE TABLE FOR SALE. BUT THATS NOT WHAT I GOT. INSTEAD THEY SHIPPED ME A PIECE OF PLAIN WOOD WHERE THEY TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A LIVE EDGE! THEY LITERALLY TAKE A ROUTER AND PUT A TROUGH AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE TABLE TO MAKE IT LOOK "ROUGH". ALL IT DID WAS MAKE IT LOOK CHEAP AND MAN-MADE. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I HAD A NEIGHBOR DROP BY AND THEY ACTUALLY LAUGHED AT IT. LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE'S HIGH SCHOOL SHOP PROJECT. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. I SHIPPED IT BACK IMMEDIATELY AND INSTEAD OF GETTING A REFUND THEY GAVE ME AMAZON CREDIT. FORTUNATELY I USE AMAZON FOR OTHER PURCHASES SO NO HARM - BUT DONT EXPECT A REFUND OF YOUR MONEY.

Table was smaller than advertised, wish I had ordered a medium instead of a small.Beautiful table but terrible smell. I'm hoping it will go away eventually.Legs were easy to attach, screw holes were already there along with the screws.I would buy again, only a larger size.
