I used this for my dart frogs it helps with drainage and it's versatile in that is can be your primary substrate or drainage layer. Helps anchor plants down and with just a little leaf litter for the frogs to hide it looks great.

Hab es als Zwischenschicht ins Terrarium gegeben, vor allem weil es ja bioaktiv sein soll. Es scheint gut zu sein, auch wenn ich noch nicht viel Wirkung festgestellt habe. Die Asseln und Springschwänze fühlen sich aber sehr wohl drin.
