Got this version because the brass was back-ordered all the way to next year! So I got this one since a renovation wont wait for a year. Worked just fine, no issues with installation ( according to my contractor) and looks perfect on the Kohler tub we have ...not that they gave us options for this products style but still... very "classic/modern look". I haven't used it long enough to know how the quality is but will be updating if anything worth mentioning happens!

The Kholer folks in the US and Thailand offered no realistic help. I needed the top part only of this overflow drain immediately. WOW! There was no help at all from Kholer. But Amazon got the piece to me in Thailand, half-way around the world, in three days!OK so I paid $198 for a $77 part, but consider please:1) I had made a custom marble mammoth-sized tub using 1.5 cm thick marble slabs; no standard overflow drain would fit.2) No US or other nation's plumbing site I was able to find offered any solution to allow me to keep the 54 cm high marble tub sides from filling near to full to allow a full deep soak my back needs,3) my local architect and builder could only suggest a 5 cm diameter round plastic pipe installed at 35 cm from the floor of the tub.4) working with a true Master Plumber and a true Master Marble Cutter, they fashioned a spot 50 cm from the floor, oval cut the marble to the shape of the drain, used the plastic pipe and cut it to size, and laid the marble tile on top to achieve the goal I sought. Double WOW!Sadly the marble twin sink credenza top has not yet arrived without cracks (it is due in 10 days, hah!) or the custom decorated sinks from China that are only 3 months late. Thus the water has not been hooked up to test the drain but.... I have faith it will work without leakage as 100% (concealed) silicone was generously used and in our 23 years abroad in Asia, does not grow mold or harden for decades.Thank you Amazon!

Nice quality, but assembly required. Came in quickly and nicely packaged.Pros: overflow drain is good quality materials and fits into the elongated opening.Cons: It is "cut and glue yourself" project. Consists of 1-1/2" PVC pipes. You need to provide your own primer, glue and RTV silicon for sealing. No, the provided rubber seal will not seal it against the rough fiberglass outer surface. So don't get shy with that RTV. I was and had to re-assemble again after filling up with water. Bottom seal leaked between the tub and rubber gasket.Also, instructions for cutting the vertical pipe are not correct: it tells you to mark the spot on the pre-assembled (dry fitted) drain, then cut it a few inches higher to compensate for the Tee. Good thing I had spare PVC pipes because the cut according to their measurements made the horizontal part draining up... which is impossible. Had to make my own measurements and then everything worked.Another con: if you are remodeling and your old drain was 1-1/4" brass or plastic, you are in for some plumbing and sub floor removal /reinstall.Note: if you hope to cheat the bathtub depth by inverting the overflow drain to have it pointing up,it will not work. It mounts uniquely facing down.

My contractor said this was easy to install. It looks great in our tub and the foot stopper is easy to use.Amazon price was better than I could’ve found at any big box store.

The quality and look of most of this kit are very nice and installed well. However, this push button drain stopper is dreadful; it stopped working quickly and has to be manually unscrewed to drain. Sticking one’s arm in a deep tub of my kids’ bath water is a distinctly unpleasant way to end an evening, ha. We are ordering a new cartridge to try to fix it but buyer be aware.

I bought this item half-off as “used, like new” condition. It was in mint condition. The product is nice and built tough. It’s expensive at Kohler’s regular price. It’s the only one that fits certain models of their tubs...so they can charge over 20% of the cost of the tub itself. That’s too much for an overflow. Nice product other than cost.
