I shopped for a long time for a journaling Bible that would work for me and finally settled on this one. I love the dimensions of it so much and the hardcover with the elastic band gives a real journaling feel to it. The binding is so wonderful that it lays open very easily without having to force it open. The only thing missing to make it seem more journal-like is a pocket in the back, but one could be added very easily to the inside of the back cover. The pages are thin, but not too thin. I have used metallic silver and gold marker pens (Uni-Ball Signo UM-153 Broad Point Gel Impact Pen, 1.0mm, White/Gold/Silver) pens in it which don't bleed through. If the pages were any thicker, it would make it a lot more bulky. This was a really well-thought-out design for a Bible and I'm extremely impressed. I absolutely love it!

This is just perfect. This one is just outstanding. Room for notes. Pages are not to thin. This is my second journaling bible ( first one is an ESV) and find myself using this one as my main journaling tool. Love that is contains red lettering. Room for my notes and jaunt down any of my thoughts. Wording is easy to read. Love KJV.

Awesome Bible! Room for my notes, red letter, small, hardback, doesn't have anybody else's name wrote all over the front like other publishers and pastor do, has a strap to keep Bible closed, and the pages have a thicker paper then normal Bibles. Love it and just ordered another one to bless someone else with one.

The media could not be loaded. Ok so I love a Journal The Word Bible! I have a 7.5 ESV and a 9.0 NIV. This Bible’s10 pt font is FANTASTIC! My 9.0 NIV is good too but this Bible is really the best! Words are super easy to read. The cream color pages are beautiful.. Red Letter.. It’s very affordable and very well made! Buy it!

Bought this for a dear friend’s birthday party. Place it near the entry area with a pen and allow people to highlight their favorite scripture with a word of encouragement, name, or compliment on the side. It was enjoyed by the recipient.

The media could not be loaded. Excited to get this bible and be able to journal beside Gods word ! I went through so many listing looking for a bible that would meet most of my needs knowing I couldn’t get them all . Here are some important factors I was searching for .1) I wanted a journal or note taking KJV bible2) the print needed to be larger than most which are usually 8pt font and I will say although this one says it is 10 pt it is just on the verge of being too small for my likings . I actually would have liked 12 or larger even.3) I wanted thumb tabs - this does not have thumb tabs but I was unable to find one which did and met some of my other needs .4) red letter , here is where I ran into issues because others that had most of what I wanted - did not have red letter for God speaking and that was the deal breaker for most other beautiful bibles . This red letter Bible does not really jump out and I think that is because of ghosting.5) I wanted referencing - this has none .6) paper thickness , this one is fineAlthough there is ghosting and that can be distracting for some .Here are some other things about it :It is nice and chunky has a great feel to it . The pages turn great and don’t stick like some other bibles do . They have more of a paper feel than a thin waxy feel like some others . I purchased sticky note transparent 2x3 inches and they fit perfect in the margin area and this way it won’t bled through . Keep in mind use a ball point pen so it does not smudge .Mine came with finger prints on the paper edge some smudging but I’ve placed tabs there and it is going to get some heavy use so I don’t mind .I’d say overall if you’re going to be doing your own research and use another source for cross referencing and diving deeper into the Bible or just reading Gods word then I can recommend this bible . However if you need cross reference or related verses and passages then this is not the one . God bless

I love this Bible!! The notes space it perfect and the font is perfect I have trouble reading but this font I can read perfectly

If you need a good journaling/study Bible, get this one. I love it since it has space to write notes on the side. Pages are a little thin but that’s normal for bibles.
