Bad condition
Do not buy. As others mentioned this product comes crumbled. It is the real deal, but unfortunately the product is completely unusable. Do not buy. I hadn't even opened the package and already knew it was going to be awful. Somehow one package was even lighter and just as the other reviewers stated its like it was crumbled to fine dust. I wouldn't be surprised if these were past expiration.

Meito Puku Puku Tai (Chocolate Wafer Cookie)
From what I gather, this is not Tayaki. It's just inspired by it and called Puku Puku Tai. It's a chocolate filled wafer cookie. There's nothing pancake about it. It has a wafer shell with a crispy chocolate inside. If you've ever had fancy chocolate filled wafer rolls, that's what it tastes like. Though it is softer, like a crisp wafer all the way through (including the chocolate, though that's a bit denser). As far as flavor it's great! :)It's 0.58 oz, 90 calories (10g of sugar) and I can pronounce all the ingredients. I'd say it's really good if you need a chocolate fix and it doesn't fill you up. Little pricey though, so I don't think I'd buy this regularly, maybe as an interesting treat for special occasions.Note: Ignore the California Prop 65 warning, it's useless. Coffee would have the same warning if all the coffee places hadn't gotten legislators to exempt it.Vendor: K&t Sunshine- Nothing broke. :) Came in a small USPS flat rate box (both individual wrapped), the box was in a Christmas themed bag (it's August lol).

Yummy
These were delicious. I wish the texture had been a little more like actual taiyaki and less freeze dried, but still yummy!

Disappointed.
These are my favorite snacks growing up in Japan, but definitely hard to find in the Midwest. Disappointed that it came crushed because I was also planning on gifting it. Not worth the price, but it still tasted good.

Completely shattered and broken, DO NOT BUY
When they arrived, I opened one, and half the cookie was crumbled into fine dust, and got everywhere. When I pulled out the tray, it was not even in fish shape. It was just a bunch of broken shards. It tastes fine, like strawberry wafers. But it's pretty much inedible, because there were no pieces to hold - just shards and crumbs. I had to throw most of it out. Do not waste your money on this product.
