The robot went together we'll. Our 6 year old was able to assemble it with minimal help. The problem is that the remote control has forwards and backwards reversed. When we tried to download the Android app, Google Play warned us about malicious content, so we didn't download the app. The toy is ok with just the remote unit (even if it is wired backwards), but our child is missing out on the voice controls and other things promised with the app.This robot is sold under several brand names, we've discovered. All apps we've found so far have the same security issues.

What a wonderful gift for my daughter! My nine year old daughter absolutely loves it, I wish I could find it earlier. It takes a little time to put the robot together, but I guess this is a great opportunity to spend time with a child. Then, when the robot walks, backs up and moves around, everyone smiles.

Little cousins loved this gift. He specifically asked for this one, and was so excited and literally could not wait to get it. Easy enough for him to put it together and understand how it works, but not too easy that he'll get bored of it for awhile.

I gave this to my 12 yr old son and he loved it. Built it right away in 30 minutes. Great direction and suitable for much younger builder enthusiasts. So happy that the minute he was done it actually worked. I think it was a great product and super affordable.
