Longtime Hurricane wearer
I've been wearing the Hurricane models since the late 90's and cringe each time they issue a new version. Most of the time the adaptation was minor and generally I have loved the Hurricanes. However, with the model 12 and then 14, I simply could not adapt to them and ultimately could not wear them; I can't even walk in the Hurricane 14 without getting severe arch fatigue in my right foot. I've been nursing the most I can get out of the last pair of Hurricane 13's which have been great, but it is time to get new shoes into the cycle, so after reading up on the Hurricane 16, I decided to take a chance. They look a lot like the 14, but so far have performed much, much better. Not quite as great as the 13, but far better than the 12 or 14. So far have only done 5 mile runs, but intend to try them for my 10 mile weekend run soon. This review might be premature, but so far, so good. I would love to see other reviews from Hurricane loyalists on their experiences with the models 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. Also, would love to know if any long time Hurricane users have found another make/model which is at all comparable.

Great shoe for the road
Love the shoe. Yep - it's BRIGHT. But I like orange so it's all good. I've been using Saucony for >20 years now. Tried switching away last year and had all kinds of calf issues. I'm back. Love the Hurricane line; good, stable, shoe. 8mm drop seems to be perfect for me. Took the neonness out of the box and wore them the next day on a 25 mile run. No issues. I've gotten ~100 miles on them so far without a problem. I don't anticipate any, but will update the review if anything unexpected happens (other than needing sunglasses when I tie 'em <grin>)

Second pair of Hurricane 16's, love them!
This is my second pair, my first was Blue, I ran about 500 miles in them training for a marathon, and I ran the marathon in them. I did not want to pay the $150 for a pair of Hurricane 17, which would be the newer model. I looked all over for the Hurricane 16 and found a better color choice (3 colors) and the cheapest price anywhere here on Amazon.com. I am very satisfied, I'm training for another marathon, I ran 12 miles the other day and no issues with my feet. The shoes are great! thank you! oh ps.......... I really like the color orange. I run at 4:30 am so I wear a lot of reflective clothing, the orange shoes are great, I've got a lot of compliments on the color of the shoes too.

These shoes are awesome! I'm not a runner
These shoes are awesome! I'm not a runner, too many knee problems, but go on daily 4+ mile walks at a fast pace. I have mild arthritis in my feet and need shoes with good motion control and arch support. These shoes do both extremely well. These replaced my second pair of Brooks Beast. The Brooks shoes are just as supportive, but a little heavier than the Saucony. And more expensive. You won't be disappointed with these shoes.

Best Running Shoes Ever
I suffer from Overpronation, so these shoes are absolutely perfect. I wear a size 9 though, and I really wished there was a size 8.5 wide, but other than that they're perfect. I've tried minimalist running shoes, but I would have to say that these are the best if you over-pronate and/or are concerned with your knees/injuries.

I love these shoes
Was fitted at my local expert shop for these and found them online nearly 1/2 off. While it's a highly personal fit, I love these shoes. Wore them training for 3 triathlons and loved them. A bit too heavy to race in....but great for training...especially long runs (14mi +).

Usually a Good Choice, Not This Time
This is probably the fourth version of this shoe I've owned. They fit well and keep my toe nails intact. However, this last pair was defective. Not sure if it's just mine but the tread on the shoes is coming unglued. Just the bottom layer. Bad glue I guess.

Great shoes
Have 4 other pairs of Hurricane's, all have been amazing. Including this one. Use these for running and walking the dog, they never let me down.
