Finding pants for my son is like hunting for Bigfoot – you hear they exist, but you never actually see them in the wild. My son, with his 32 x 36 frame, has legs that could challenge a giraffe in a high-kick competition. Enter the Dickies Men's Flex Work Pant Slim Straight Fit, the holy grail of hard-to-find sizes! First off, let me say, these pants are so rare that I almost expected Indiana Jones to be the delivery guy. I’ve scoured every brick-and-mortar store from here to Timbuktu, but no dice. I was starting to think my son would have to resort to a life of high-waters or wearing shorts year-round. But thank goodness for Amazon – the land where elusive sizes come to roost. When the pants arrived, my son was skeptical. He’s been let down by so many pairs before, I think he expected them to magically shrink in the wash or transform into a 32 x 30 like some cruel joke. But nope, these Dickies held strong! They fit him like a glove – well, like a really long glove for really long legs. The quality of these pants is no joke, though my Dad jokes certainly are. They're built tough, just like my patience after years of searching for this size. The Flex material means he can bend, squat, and do the Hokey Pokey without any wardrobe malfunctions. He even tried to give them a test run by reenacting a scene from Mission Impossible – and they passed with flying colors. He didn't fair so well though. Now, let’s address the style. These pants are as sleek as my son's attempt at a mustache – slim and straight. They’re perfect for everything from school to work to whatever other mysterious teenage activities he’s up to. Plus, the color is sharp, and they pair well with pretty much anything, even those weird graphic tees he insists on wearing. In conclusion, if you’ve got a string bean for a son like mine, the Dickies Men's Flex Work Pant Slim Straight Fit is a lifesaver. They’re sturdy, stylish, and most importantly, they fit! I can finally stop dragging my son on wild goose chases through department stores. P.S. Why did the scarecrow wear Dickies pants? Because he was outstanding in his field – just like my son in his new pants!

I bought these pants for my son. He is 6’8” and it is so difficult finding long length work pants. I ordered size 36 x 36. They fit well, look nice and he says they are comfortable. They are a canvas like material that feels durable. They did not shrink after washing. They were very wrinkly out of the dryer but a quick steam got most of the wrinkles out. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would purchase these again!

Bought these for work. Good fit, flexibility, and seem pretty durable. I bought the rigid hoping they would last longer...they have worn in perfectly so far. We'll see as time goes on. The only down side is what someone said in earlier comments.....Yes, the pockets are small....made for a fifth grader. But that said, I would buy again.

The fit is impeccable, hugging my body in all the right places. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and durable, making them perfect for everyday wear. The khaki color is timeless and versatile, allowing me to easily dress them up or down. I can confidently say these pants have become a staple in my wardrobe. 2 thumbs up Dickies!

Best fitting work jeans I've ever had. I wear these with suspenders and never get the typical binding in the crotch when stepping up/climbing. Other brands tend to die a early death due to the crotch ripping out due to the repeated stress. This, and the price, was a huge plus for me. I bought two pair a couple months ago and despite the denim material feeling thinner than some of the other brands, they still look great. I did get some shrinkage after time. Not the waist, but the length. I have a 34" inseam and they shrunk about an inch. Probably wouldn't even be noticeable on shorter lengths. Despite this, I will buy again. Excellent fit, excellent value.

Dickies puts out high quality products , pants last forever !

Dickies manufactures a variety of utility pants with different fabric & texture ranging from what feels like hard canvas to very soft denim. These jeans are comfortable blue 100% cotton denim that soften up with use and hold up well in tough conditions. They fit well in the waist & gluts with a relaxed fit in the legs & groin allowing freedom of movement. I have worn Dickies carpenter & Painters pants for years & these pants are true to size unlike some other brands. I bought these jeans for working and they serve that purpose very well. They are not a pair of jeans I would wear for a night out but I have no problem wearing them for general running around. For me the color has only lightened up a little, the way I would expect from cotton after many washes. I do only wash them in cold water and I'm sure that helps. They do as one review mentioned, come out of the dryer wrinkled more that my Levi or Eddie Bauer jeans for the first 5 or so washed but then smooth out about the same. For this price, I don't think you can buy a better pair of utility jeans. If your looking for designer pants with utility pockets, this isn't for you!

Not much to say about them, I like the color & fit, etc -- that stuff is more of a personal taste issue, so it's not worth discussing much. However... My one issue with these jeans is they always seem to be extremely wrinkled when I take them out of the washer. None of my other jeans (assorted big-name brands) have this problem; it's just this pair in particular. I don't know if it's the material, thickness, or what, but it's a bit annoying. One of the nice things about (other) jeans is they generally don't need ironing, so that kind of thing diminishes their value somewhat.
