4-Pin Analog Stick Replacement Parts for PS3 Official Dual Shock 3 Controller

Product page states item is brand new when it is actually used.

Joystick is not new. It is clearly used (still has solder on the points + slight corrosion) when advertised as new so deducted 2 stars for false advertising. Price isnt cheap, however if your only problem with your current controller is one stick and you don't want to buy a new one (or an aftermarket one) then it's a decent option. Value for the price isn't there: I paid around $10 and that should be cost of a 2 pack but only got a single (which was advertised). Considering these specific modules are not manufactured, don't have an aftermarket alternative, and limited in supply, it's hard to find an alternative or competitor. The one I got (left stick replacement) has some drift. Not too crazy but worth mentioning. I already soldered these on so I can't/wont return them but I would recommend attempting to look elsewhere if possible.

This stick worked perfect on my DualShock 3 controller. What you need to look out for is the type of stick your controller has. If you have 3 pin potentiometers this is not the stick for you, but if you have 4 pin hall effect sensors this is the one to buy. Bought this stick to replace a worn out left thumbstick for my DS3, and it worked perfectly. Ordered another to replace the other stick.

These are used parts being sold as new. Don't buy these. The ones I ordered have left over solder on the legs; the hall effect sensors are missing their shielding; the sticks aren't centered; and there's rust & corrosion all over them.

This replacement does NOT fit a Dualshock 3 controller. Should've listened to the first review. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Only X axis worked, neither the stick click or the Y axis responded. Part didn't looked used as other reviews stated
