It smells like soy sauce, and I hope that is what it’s supposed to smell like…very strong soy sauce. Hope it helps my damaged hair!!!! But. Whew. I’ll update once I wash and dry my hair. UPDATE (about a month): I will be using this once a week for sure. My hair loves it and I have been getting all the compliments. They are saying it is softer, more full and bouncy. I feel they are correct :-) UPDATE: (months out)-I’m on my 2nd bottle and using this every Sunday. My hair is noticeably healthier, and is growing! I’ll continue to use this :-)

I apply this hair oil 2 to 3 times a week. Process: massage into the scalp and at the hair ends the night before and wash per normal the next morning. It took about 30 days to begin to see new hair growth and consistent change in hair shaft continues. This would depend on the person's health and hair. For me, in my mid sixties, my hair was affected by hormones, 10 years highlighting, and flat iron treatment, as well as grey hair. Have used this product now for about a 1 ½ years. My hair has grown longer, thicker, softer, and some hair color returned. My hair had thinned at the crown. Significant change in thickness over this time period. My other changes in hair care included: using diluted baking soda along with a pea size amount of natural shampoo (this remove toxins and residual hair product from scalp) quit highlighting hair, and reduced the use of flat iron, and quit brushing my hair while wet, which was stretching the hair shaft. For me having thicker hair that grows is more important than the hair color and perfect hair every day.

Its ok. Super oily. Not my favorite smell but can tolerate it. Use once a week. Not sure it made a big difference but Ill continue to use it and hope it does. I won’t probably by again.

I've tried this product before. The smell was incredible and intoxicating, I fully LOVED it, but when I ordered it recently, it is weak. It is still nice, but I am disappointed that the sesame oil dominates the other scents a bit more than it should. Still a lovely product for hair, but I really wanted to original formula.

For over a month, my hair was falling out in large clumps. I was under a lot of stress and I also had started a new medication. My hair loss was so bad that I must have lost 30-40% of my hair in a month. Desperate for help, I bought some new vitamins and this hair oil. I didn't expect miracles. I expected that it would take months of regular hair oil treatments to see any results. But to my shock and surprise, this hair oil treatment worked the very first time. I massaged a few tablespoons into my scalp, wrapped it in a towel and left it on for a few hours. After I washed it out I braided my hair and went to bed. The next morning I brushed my hair and realized that only a few strands came out in my brush. This was a shock to me because brushing my hair had become traumatizing. A couple days later, my hair is still holding strong. I'm going to continue this treatment 2-3 times a week for as long as I need to. But it really did work to stop my hair loss the very FIRST time.

I've had extremely thick, coarse hair my entire life. Now that's grey, it's coarser. duller. I've tried every product out there, at all price ranges, but this one works the best. It tames my hair and adds shine. As the day goes on, it gets absorbs, & I'm ready for a new dose the next morning. I apply as my hair is drying after being washed & to dry hair daily.
