Print & Stick Target Paper, Adhesive Machine Embroidery Templates, for Inkjet & Laser Printers

I am generally not a fan of Dime products due to ridiculously high cost. This product is an exception. It makes Edge to Edge quilting on the embroidery machine a snap! Basically you print a template onto the target paper. Peel away the backing and position it on your project. The target paper is translucent so you can see where you left off. If you have a Babylock or Brother machine with a camera, you can scan and make minor tweaks on the display. Note that if you are using a larger design than 8.5x11, you cannot use the target paper. I liked the sticky template but I did not realize that it really adheres to the project. Just be sure to think of it when using it.

Not dissolvable, ment to be used as lift away template. At first I thought it would be fantastic as I can place it directly on the fabric, it stays exactly where I need it and is fairly easy to poke a needle through. However after finishing my project I found that I couldn't remove the paper that was directly under the heavily embroidered sections, so my project was left scratchy and almost ruined after I washed it thinking the paper was ment to dissolve. I really wish there was better information on how to use this paper beyond their focus on the template maker. There is zero information on the packaging, and little to none on any descriptions.I would 100% endorse this paper if the template dissolved after washing. It would make creating custom templates and ideas so much easier.

I just finished all over quilting where I wanted the embroidery designs to look continuously connected. These papers helped a lot. I use a Brother Quattro 2 machine with an embroidery unit. It has a camera and ability to scan what’s in the hoop. That would have worked for this twin quilt but the scanning takes longer for a large hoop than I have patience for. I ended up using Only 2 of the papers for this twin size quilt (5 x 7 hoopings). After a short time they don’t stick well to the original backing paper but they still stick the to fabric a lot longer than you think they would. I printed them on my HP Envy inkjet printer with no problem. I usually loaded one at a time because the two layers of paper (sticky paper plus backing paper) but I think I loaded two sheets one time and they both printed without a problem. We have a laser that should have worked but I didn’t try that. The sticky paper is somewhat transparent and workable but my eyes are getting older and a little more transparency would be nice. If this sounds like something that might be useful, I recommend it.

This is great because you can see through it and it definitely stays in place. Would definitely buy again.

I got this for a template for over sized lap quilt.It did work well. I had to print out 3 times.Wished the sticky side lasted longer.It works perfect for matching starting points
