I am sorry to say but to me this product was not great and mediocre quality … the kit great the scoby not at all … make sure you grt a great and healthy quality scoby .. the rest can be get easily

Great product. I did notice a few darker spots on the original scoby but I carefully removed them and brewed a batch with no issues! Definitely recommend for the price and overall quality.

Amazingly healthy scobie! Very good quality. Just started my brew & had to store in fridge for about two weeks since I was away from home. To no surprise it stored well in the fridge in the bag it came in! Seems like a good quality product & are very informative with a card as well. I don't usually write reviews though due to quality & them asking via a nice form if any issues call I figured their service was pretty good. I recommend getting a heat blanket for you're brew as well seeing how kombucha brews best at 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Warmer the better to a degree. Even with heat blanket in home of about 67 degrees Fahrenheit jar still is only 82 degrees Fahrenheit with heater blanket on high. So definitely recommend heater pad so you don't have an extremely slow brew & or mold issues.
