Trying to use this to power a motor. The switch is working, but the motor will not run. Any ideas?

One suggestion is that this unit is equivalent to a switch, which can control the motor on and off, or control the on and off of the circuit, but it cannot directly supply power to the motor. Does the motor need external power supply in your circuit?

Are the outputs of the 2 different types ( npn / pnp ) open collector or does the output actually supply current to the signal pin?
