I bought this to add to our 259L x 170W (2000l) pool. While it does clear some tiny bits of dirt from the pool, it doesn’t cover it all. The pump itself isn’t noisy as other reviews have suggested. You need to ensure the pool outlet comes from the bottom hole and the inlet is the top one, to keep it quiet, as air in the filter is what causes the noise. This teamed with a hosepipe cleaner (also from Amazon) keep our pool clear of debris, and the chemicals keep the water algae and germ free. This is a good addition to a pool setup but not a one product solution to pool maintenance.

Worked for a week really well. Went to use it again a few weeks later (typically just out of return window) and now it doesn’t work properly and barely pumps water. Waste of money and the only reason it has one star is because I can’t give it zero.

Got rather frustrated with the set up on this item. It works more on gravitation than a pump hence it’s a bit like siphoning the pool into the impeller rather than it sucking the water up. So don’t just plug in in and expect it to start filtering. You have to release the air valve and then prime both tubes at this point close the air valve and plug in it ideally needs two people prime pipes drop into pool as assistant turns on. Let frustrated now that it is appearing to be doing something.
