Engaging Read for Teens and Adults Alike
I bought the second book, "City of Thirst" in a discount store on a whim. When I realized it was part of a series, I ordered the first book "The Map to Everywhere" and read that before turning my attention to the second book. What a refreshing and original premise! The characters are interesting and well-developed, the story engaging and I loved the ingenuity of the authors' creativity. Text was swirled, waved, staircased--both up and down--all to assist the reader in envisioning the circumstances. My sister was intrigued as well, to the point that we bought the remaining two books for the complete set. We read them with avid interest. While this series (four in all) is geared for teens, we are both in our 60's and embraced every one of the books with excitement. There are flaws, but every story has them. We read them voraciously and were disappointed when the final book ended, only because it ended. Of course, there could be a sequel....fingers crossed.

Great kids book
One of the best kids books I've ever read. I pre-read everything I give to my son (age 9) for content and I often find myself bored. Not this time, The Map to Everywhere was a great read. Right up there with Book Scavenger for my favorite kids books. There were a few sections where the book dragged a bit, but overall I really enjoyed it. My son is currently reading it and loving it as well. He's almost halfway through and very excited to finish the story. Very good book for adventure/fantasy fans.

I enjoyed reading this book to my girls as much as ...
As a mother, I enjoyed reading this book to my girls as much as they did. The authors' writing is well-crafted, leading the reader through a wonderful ride that captivates the reader from the very beginning. Late elementary/early middle schoolers will enjoy the story of adventure and humor that ultimately uncovers the friendship that develops between the two protagonists. The story is engaging, exciting, intriguing, and captivating, and I suspect that the series will quickly become a must-read for young readers. Now that we have enjoyed The Map to Everywhere as a family, I cannot wait to read The City of Thirst!

Loved this book!
This book is going on my new top favorites. The world was so rich, the characters and their goals, and the writing so great and humorous. From the first chapter, it pulls you right in, and I wanted to be in their world.
