Works good on my 1911, HK and Glock

Works on Glock
Researched several of these, even another brand that looks similar. Some state that it doesn’t work with Glocks, but I had no issues, maybe operator error? It is heavy duty, that’s probably why the “movement” handle is slightly bent. Shipping box could be better packaged. But this doesn’t affect the operation of the tool, so I will be keeping it. Very happy for the cost savings from brand name tools.

Odd constuction
First, would not move my rear sight. And all controls were loose and sloppy , and since there are no bearings in the moving parts, if you tighen down the two halves ALL the moving parts bind up solid, nothing will move. You MUST leave ALL the screws loose in order for this to move.

Worked well instructions could be better
This worked on the one side i was doing its a micro so it was a bit more difficult. A full sized slide should be easier to use this tool. One thing that would go a long way to making this better would be if the instructions were in color. The paper and detail was there just not the contrast to make it super clear.Took a couple of trys but it worked well. Would i buy it again maybe? Would need to try on a few other slides to determine overall value

Did the job
After shooting my new 1911 a couple of hundred rounds. I noticed my shots were grouping left. I then realized my rear sight was drifting. I searched Amazon and found this device. It came the next day. I didn’t bother reading the directions. It was easy to spot where to insert my slide and secure it. Took me 5 minutes to get the sight realigned.

Surprisingly sturdy
Will see how it goes further but I was pleasantly surprised that it helped with particularly sturdy sights where using punch didn’t move them a single bit. The crank survived hits with a hammer and didn’t even stripped the thread.Wish it had longer handles on a crank (or through-hole) to help with difficult sights but overall worker really well for me — ymmv.

Handle gave way
The item did not work for my xd springfield the handle is not all one piece andnit stripped as soon as I made contact with the sight I've tried two different ones hoping the first was just a bad one but both did the same thing I have no doubt that if the hand and drive rod became one piece ut can take any job but until then

Vevor sight tool is NOT a precision adjustment tool.
I was very excited in replacing the old sights on my HK USPC 45 acp. I'm not an armorer but I'm a handy individual an a very experience technician. I have worked on small and big projects my entire adult life. With that said I received the Vevor sight tool a couple days ago, at initial glance it looks like a well made tool. After removing the front pusher block I can see some sloppy machining work done behind the block. I read the instructions and put the tool together. The next day I continue in preparing my handgun for sight replacement. I masked the slide to avoid any unwanted marks. Removing the rear sights was to easy with no problems. After remounting the slide on the tool I removed the front sight also with no issues. The problem started in my initial attempt on installing the sight. The accessive play on the front pusher block (the H looking peace) allowed enough movement or twist to move the front sight of it's track. After the third attempt and every attempt double and triple checking every turn I made on the adjustment wheel. I can clearly see that the pusher block excessive play was trowing the sight of track ruining my front sight. In my experience the Vevor sight tool is NOT a high precision tool. It works for thick and bulky sights only. You can imagine my disappointment after ruining a new sight, Lesson learned.
