Very easy to install. I had a Hydro Maid disposal for over 15 years. I could not get any repair parts for it so, I had to purchase an electric disposal. Over the years I turned the electric switch that was installed for the disposal into a GFI outlet. We used the outlet all the time. So, when I had to get an electric disposal I really did not want to give up the outlet. This switch allowed me to keep the outlet and still be able to turn the disposal on and off easily. It look nice with our stainless steel sink and works great.

I bought this to replace an old fiber optic switch that, sadly, is no longer available. Installing this switch button required drilling a larger hole in my quartz counter-top (hired a pro for this) as well as buying an extended 3" air switch. I wanted to avoid enlarging the hole in the plywood on the underside of the counter (typical method used for installing standard switch length) because of the fuss, mess, and, most importantly, wanted to preserve the strength around my under-mount sink as much as I could. Granted, this may be overkill. The electrical switch box plugs into the under-sink electrical outlet with enough room in the remaining receptacle outlet for my dishwasher plug. I was concerned about this. The switch box also has only one receptacle just for the garbage disposal which is all I need for a clean, simple switching operation. The switch works fine with no sticking, etc. and the stainless finish matches the other sink fixtures. The only sad thing is that I miss the 20 sec. timer that my old fiber optic switch had, but this is not the fault of the product.

Fantastic product and seller. I made a mistake in my switch color selection and the seller was very prompt in replying and getting me taken care of. Installation was quite easy, taking less than 15 minutes for an average-ability DIYer. Product functions very well, push button to start disposal, push button to stop. Very happy, will recommend this product and especially the seller to all of my friends and family.

Everything works fine but the unit that drops into the granite top and the sink that is mounted below the granite top was to short. I resolved the problem by using some silicone to adhere it to the granite top.

Perfect garbage disposal button! Easy to use, easy to install (so said my husband) and way better than to have to reach across the countertop for the switch. You can click the button once for on and click again for off. Amazing design and best price. I found in local stores (Home Depot and Lowes) for around $60. Looks and works great. Matches our Delta Stainless Steel faucet perfectly. Very simple setup. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the fact that it did not come with any sort of gasket. I had some plumber's putty and put a very fine bead around the bottom surface which is fine by me. But for some of the new DIY'ers, a gasket would be better since almost all new faucets come with gaskets.

Installed in January and I love it. We ordered the Stainless Steel and it looks fabulous. The connection box is larger than I thought, like has been mentioned here, but it left just enough room when placed in the bottom plug for the dishwasher to be plugged into the top plug. It came with a ton of the hose, which is great for the future if it gets a hole in it or loses its airtight seal. I was hesitant when the countertop company and electrician said to buy this, but I love it. So easy to use.

This was installed by our electrician as part of a kitchen renovation, but I understand that it was very easy to install. I purchased the stainless steel color which matches my sink and other appliances perfectly. The button hole was created in the quartz countertop by the countertop supplier, who informed me that it was a standard size so I didn't have to give them the hole diameter. It fit perfectly. I'm extremely pleased with this product so far, which has been used for about 5 months currently.
