Good introduction for beginners, and important info on connecting to external data bases/

I'm literally on the first chapter and I already love this book! I read the line, "...the data is formatted specifically to make you suffer." and started cracking up. My boss has had me create pivot tables for about 6 months now and still don't know what a pivot table is or does. I love the analogy used in the beginning and has already helped me better understand what I'm doing. I look forward to reading the rest of this book and gaining the knowledge needed to impress my boss even more!

Just started working through the chapters. This volume gives a good start-to-finish on pivot tables. Basic Excel proficiency is a good prerequisite.

Purchased this book, along with the Collect, Combine and Transform Data Using Power Query in Excel and Power BI.Both arrived in good overall condition, no damage. The disappointment comes from the print quality... Text is fine but the quality of the numerous screenshots etc... are poor some have low resolution (blurred or fuzzy), some are faded.. in some instances both.
